After a long few hours of planning the date with her friends y/n finally got it all planned out and has just finished getting ready to go when someone comes through the door she turns to see her sister standing there with Peter
"Okay so first off you better treat Wanda right and even though you're my sister I'll still kick your ass if you hurt her I mean it" Natasha starts off on her rant
"Secondly she's already head over heels for you so even if the date goes bad your odds are pretty good at making her your girlfriend" Y/n is just frozen in her spot still processing everything being said and looks to Peter who shrugs his shoulders
"And finally enjoy yourself kid, because nobody deserves this more then the two of you I'm rooting for you both to make this work" She turns to walk away "Oh and good luck" she says before leaving again
Y/n looks at Peter again "What the hell was that?" She asks confusion written all over her face and Peter just chuckles "Well I'm only here to wish you luck Y/n and let me know all the details when you get back now go get your girl" and with that he leaves too
"I mean no pressure right" Y/n says to herself sarcastically and leaves her room to meet Wanda downstairs
Y/n walks into the kitchen to see no sign of Wanda yet just Thor, Bucky, Steve and Tony standing there
"Has Wanda come down yet?" She asks them and Tony just shakes his head and Y/n sits down while she waits
"Tony is it okay of I use you Audi pleeeaasseee" Y/n begs him with her puppy eyes "You can but please don't scratch it because you'll have to pay to fix it" He gives her a warning as she jumps up to hug him "Thank you"
Just as she steps back all the boys look behind her jaws on the floor and Y/n replicates them as soon as she turns around
"Wow you look amazing Wanda" Y/n says looking her up and down "I agree, if things don't work out Lady Maximoff I'll gladly take you out" Thor says earning daggers from Y/n "Hate to rain on your thunder Thor but she's all mine pal" Everyone laughs at her comment
"Anyways let's go before me and the boys start fighting over you" Y/n holds out her arm for Wanda to take and they carry on towards Tony's car as Y/n speeds off
"So where are you taking me?" Wanda asks looking at y/n who's eyes are glues to the road "We're going for dinner first and then somewhere else after" Y/n answers glancing at Wanda for second before looking back at the road
The drive was silent but not an awkward silence, they got to the restaurant and ordered quickly and are now on dessert
"You know nobody has ever made me feel this special before I don't know what I did to meet someone like you" Wanda says her eyes were filled with admiration for the girl in front of her
"Well a girl like you deserves the whole word and I know I can't give you the world" Y/n pauses and takes Wanda's hand staring her in the eyes "But I'll damn sure do my best" She finishes her little speech and kisses the back of Wanda's hand
As the girls got back to the car to go to their next spot Y/n handed Wanda a scarf
"What's this for?" She questions as Y/n opens the car door for her "To cover your eyes for where we're going next" She answers helping her tie it around her head and once she did they drove for another little bit before reaching their destination
"Okay so I need you to promise you won't peak and I'll make sure you don't fall"
"I won't peak but I feel like this is where you murder me" Wanda's voice filled with worry "Oh sweetheart if I wanted to kill you I'd get straight to it instead if taking you for dinner first"
"Such a romantic" Wanda scoffs making y/n giggle "Now just take a few steps forward and I'll tell you when to stop" Y/n says as she guides her to the spot "Right you can stop now and take off the scarf"
Wanda's POV:
I take off the scarf and blink a few times to adjust my eyes before I see the beautiful sight in front of me I turn to look at the girl standing behind me with a huge smile on her face
"I thought what better way to end this date than with the sunset at the beach" She says to me and I wrap my arms around her "I absolutely love it"
"Come on let's take a walk along the shore" She grabs my hand leading me down the beach, We walk in silence for a bit before I speak up
"Thank you so much for today I really enjoyed it I couldn't have asked for for better first date"
"You're welcome but there is one thing I've been meaning to tell you" She stops to look at me now holding both my hands
"For a long time I saw myself as this cold hearted horrible person because of my past and a part of me still feels that way but I met you in that Hydra base and I felt something I didn't before, it was happiness you made me smile everyday and I knew then that I wanted you in my life forever and I was okay with that being just as a friend because I didn't want to ruin anything...." She paused for moment before continuing
"My point here is that I want you in my life as more than just a friend so Wanda Maximoff would you please be my girlfriend?" She asks me, I take a bit longer to answer as I'm in awe of everything she has said and notice fear in her eyes that I was going to reject her
"I would love nothing more than to be your girlfriend you make me so happy and I promise to make sure you know you're more than what you think of yourself, you've got a heart of gold and the person you were back then is nothing compared to who you are today" I tell her
A single tear rolls down my face which she wipes away before grabbing my cheeks and kissing me and I kiss her back passionately for a couple of minutes before we pull back to catch our breath
She pulls me into a hug and I wrap my arms around her waist putting my head against her chest, this is my safe place in the arms of my now girlfriend and I couldn't be happier
"I suppose we should go back and let the others know we're alive" She says and we head back to the car and drive home.
