Frankie's POV
The day flew by pretty quick. I remembered Zach told me to wait out by the school entrance after school but, it's been 35 minutes and he's still not here. After another half hour of waiting, Zach finally comes out of the doors
Frankie:Where were you?
Zach: Detention...
I chuckle a bit
Frankie: so where's your house?
Zach:Oh yeah! Follow me!
Zach started walking behind the school by the fence
Frankie:we aren't climbing the fence right?
Before Zach can answer, he's already over the fence
Frankie: I thought you took the bus?
I slowly start climbing over the pointy metal fence
Zach:I go on the bus to school but just walk home.
I give him a confused look, sitting on the top of the fence
Zach:Coming? Here.
I slowly take Zach's hand and jump of the fence, releasing my hand quickly. I mumble a small "thanks" and continue following Zach.
"Are we there yet?" I say agian, still following Zach threw a small pathway. Once agian he dosent answer, until we arrive at a little blue house on the corner(one in picture) "Here". I look around a bit, it's a nice little house. I slowly walk up the steps,hearing a crack on each step. Zach slowly opens the door and reveals what looks like a living room.
Zach:Sorry 'bout the mess. No need to take your shoes off by the way
Frankie:Okay... So, studying?
I notice Zach slouch a bit
Zach:Let's get some food first.
I follow Zach threw the living room into a kitchen. There's a small table in the middle with... Duck tape on it? I guess Zach knew what I was thinking
Zach:Yeah, I live here alone and I'm not that good with handyman stuff so, I use duck tape a lot
I chuckle a bit
Frankie:I think it looks cute
Zach didn't reply, he just laughed a bit
Zach:Do you know how to bake?
I chuckled a bit at this, "out of the blue" question
Frankie: Yeah? Why?
Zach:Well... My mom was never happy with me moving alone so, about once a week I go to her house and- it's stupid I know
Frankie:I think that's sweet! Why did you want to move out?
Zach:Uhhhh... Let's just say my dad was never there for me and my mom, i guess.
Frankie: yeah, I know how you feel. When I was little my dad broke up with mom and now... She's just a Monster on heels
I looked up to Zach noticing a confused look on his face?
Zach:What do ya mean, monster on heels?
Frankie: Well, she's not her happy self anymore, she comes home practically drunk everyday and she's always cranky
I didn't really want to go into details with my family since, I barley know Zach, for all I know he could be some murderer just spying on me or something?
Zach:Oh, well anyways... Wanna make some cupcakes?
I nodded

"It said to make green you needed purple,Yellow and black!"
I laugh at how Zach basically just ruined our, now grey cupcakes. They were supposed to be green but...
Frankie:Sorry, who said those colours made green, agian?
Zach: Myself...
I chuckled a bit at the way Zach pouted
Frankie:I'm sure your moms second favourite colour is grey
Zach:Maybe second last...
I finished putting all the batter in little wrappers, then placed the cupcakes in the oven
Frankie:We should study while we wait
Zach went over to the table while I grabbed my book bag, returning quickly. I set all my books out on the table
Frankie:Okay, Mrs. Odom told me you were doing the worst in science so... What's a conductor? Is that too easy?
Zach:A what?
I mumble to myself "This is gonna be a long year"
Frankie:Something(like a object ex:metal) that lets the electrons pass
Zach:Okay, thankfully I'm not gonna be a scientist, how 'bout we watch a movie?
Frankie: Zach! If you don't pass your exams you can't graduate!
Zach: Well, it's not the first time I wont pass grade 12
I look at him, half confused, and a bit scared at how old he might be...
Zach:Don't worry, I'm not like millions of years older than you, just one.
I sighed in relief, I mean, I'd still be with him-i mean FRIENDS with him, even if he was a few years older than me. I saw a hand flying over my face, not noticing I was staring.
Zach:Hello? Helllllllllllllllluo?
Frankie:oh, sorry what did you say?
Zach: I said "we should get back to work".
Frankie:oh, um, Whats the planets in order from closest to the sun?
I looked over at the page, just to make sure I was right.
Zach:Um...Mercure, Venus and Uranus?
Frankie:There's more than three planets, Zach
I checked the clock,noticing the cupcakes should be done soon.
Zach:Can't I just do something extra in school and get credit that way?
I gasped, I can't believe I didn't think if that!
Frankie:Yes! There's a school play "Cinderella" we could help out! I'd still have to tutor you so you will at least pass some of your exams, but extra credit would be great.
Zach:Well, if I'm going to help out with this play it's not going to be Cinderella. How 'bout we change it to Annabelle or something.
I slapped his arm, laughing at him and thinking he could just change the whole production
Frankie:You can't change the whole thing, silly. And besides, what's wrong with Cinderella, I mean, it's not like your going to have to be the prince or something
I soon hear the smoke detector go off, Dang it!
