Masquerade Party

The last bell rang and we were about to exit the classroom but suddenly a voice was seeking everyone's attention.

"Hey, buddies! As you know that today is my birthday so there will be a grand masquerade party like always at my place. All are invited. See you at the night", yn made an announcement.

Her back was facing me. I thought of not getting her attention and not also attending her party.

"Any late-night plans?" a random guy behind me passed comment and when yn asked who was that, he pointed at me.

"Hey what? I didn't say that" I exclaimed.

Yn came and leaned towards me, I was just leaning back so that we can maintain distance.

She whispered in my ear "If you want then you can make a night with me by doing.." and without completing her sentence she moved back. I asked in a low voice" By doing...?"

Why did I ask that? Now she'll again make fun of me.

"By doing random stuff like washing the dishes," she said with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes at that, she also gave me a see-you-in-the-party look and exited the classroom

"No way Jack I'm not going to her party"

"Come on Rii she invited you personally" Jack tried hiding his smile by saying this, I glared at him and he continued "to wash the dishes".

Anyhow Jack convinced me for the party and here we are. The party was so happening. Everyone was wearing a mask including me as it was a masquerade party but I spotted a girl without a mask. Who's she? Her back was facing me. I moved towards her and yeah it was the most annoying girl of the universe-yn. Jack bought me a drink. When Jack was handing me a drink it accidentally dropped on yn's dress. She looked up at me. As I thought she was unable to recognize me. But what makes a difference. Now she'll burst out at me. But the very next second I was surprised. She didn't even utter a word. Just smiled and went. Someone get me an oxygen cylinder. Yn was going to change her dress but I don't know why I'm feeling that something is not right. I looked upwards and spotted that the Chandelier which is hung up is about to fall. My eyes grew widened when my gaze stuck upon yn who was standing exactly under it. The Chandelier started falling slowly and I just ran and encircled yn in my arms and we both rolled together to a safe place. Thudd!! The chandelier fell and was broken into a million pieces. Yn was just looking at me. She was still in shock that what just happened. Her hands were resting on my shoulder. My eyes were mesmerizing her beauty. She looks so cute. When I looked into her eyes and found my reflection, I stood up with a jerk and came out of the party. I heard yn calling me

"Hey wait! You Mr. Blue listen to me"

But I didn't stop. Wait. What? Mr. Blue? Like seriously? She should be awarded for the naming ceremony of everyone.

No, I don't like my blue eyes. I hate them. How can I be so careless? Thank god it was a masquerade party. Where is my lens?

I was so panicked when I saw the reflection in yn's eyes' and found myself without wearing a lens. I just hope she didn't recognize me.
