The three drove up to the designation and got out of the car

"Ready to go" Nico asked

"Go where? we don't know where Alex is" Gert questioned

Nico pulled the staff out of its bag

"Did you steal that from your mom" Molly exclaimed "your in trouble"

"you think it can help us?" Karolina asked

"I'm counting on it" Nico held it out in front of her electricity sparked, Nico walked forward "show us the way to Alex" Nothing happened

"So much for the magical witch proclamations" Gert sighed

As if on cue the staff lit up and shone a bright light in a direction

"What is that thing" Karolina asked amused

"I don't know but I think I'm in love" Nico looked at the staff

"The lights are pretty but HOW is this helping" Molly exclaimed

"I think it's the heat signature of the car that took Alex" Y/n stated

"Yeah, the staff is trying to lead us to him" Nico looked at them

"I'll drive" Karolina said as she went towards her car

"Wait hold on a second, I'm all for the idea of rescuing Alex but we have NO idea what we are going up against" Gert interrupted

"It could be my church" Karolina offered

"Or the cops" Nico interrupted "Alex and I found out our parents were paying off the police"

"Ok so just so I understand, we are either gonna be facing off against gibborim enforcer types or a corrupt branch of the LAPD.." Gert asked

"Could just be generic kidnappers" Y/n offered

"..With no weapons and no plans" Gert continued

"We have the staff and each other" Nico reminded them

"Plus like I keep telling you guys, I'm really really strong-" Molly said

"Molly not now!" Gert interrupted

"What about chase" Y/n questioned "i sent him a few texts but he hasn't answered any of them, shouldn't he be here"

"We'll keep trying him in the way, but we cant lose Alex" Nico started walking

The rest of the group Got into the car as Karolina followed the beam of light coming from the staff

Y/n was too focused on following the light that she zoned out she felt really anxious she felt as if she was gonna hurl

"You okay, you don't look to well" Molly questioned her sister

"I'm fine just really anxious" She gave a small smiled to Molly

she looked down at her phone and saw she was getting a call from chase she picked up immediately

"Hey what's going on" He questioned

"I'm with everyone, we need you to come here. We need to save alex from unidentified kidnappers" She explained frantically

"What" He exclaimed

"there's a lot of insanity to feel you at home, but we'll get to talk later ok, this first. I'm gonna send you our location okay? cool, hurry bye" She hung up "Relax guys help is on the way" She looked at the the other anxiously

The car stopped at a house "that guy has s gun to Alex's head" Nico panicked

" the odds surviving a confrontation seemed increasingly slim" Gert sighed
