Runaway Baby// Chase Stein x Reader

𝚁𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚘 𝚘𝚗

Everyone was sleeping in beanbags on the floor until they woke up from being shaked and the sound of things being shattered from around them

"What is this" Gert asked

"Earthquake" Chase yelled

The group ran to the doorway and  stood underneath it. Molly and y/n went to meet up with them before being blocked by a peice of ceiling that had fallen

"Molly over here" Y/n called for her attempting to get to safety

Molly went to go to her but a beam began to fall over y/n. Molly ran over to catch it

"Molly no!" Chase yelled after her

Molly held the beam and lifted it up

"Did you guys see that" She yelled

"Well looks like we're safe" Alex sighed "we survived"

A chandelier fell from the ceiling as soon as he spoke they looked towards it as y/n caught it so it wouldn't hurt them before they walked forward.

"This place held up though" Chase stated looking around

"For now" Y/n sighed

"Wait guys where's Karolina" Nico asked looking around

"There's no sign of her upstairs." Y/n said as her and Chace went down the stairs

"Although, pretty sure I saw, like, rat-sized cockroaches back there." Chase said pointing up the stairs

"Bite-sized Old Lace snacks." Molly smiled

"Most things are bite-sized for old lace" Y/n argued

"No. Gross." Gert said and old lace looked down to the floor "Fine. Who am I to judge the dietary habits of a homeless dinosaur?"

Old lace ran up the stairs and towards where Chace had pointed

"Guys! Focus. Karolina." Nico yelled

"Look. She's not in here injured, OK, which means she's out there, probably totally fine." Alex tried calming her down

"Except it might be worse out there." Nico exclaimed "We need to partner up, comb the area nearby."

"Or maybe we don't need to go anywhere." Molly said looking behind her

"Hey. Is everyone OK?" Karolina walked up to them

"Where were you?" Nico asked "We were worried."

"Sorry. I couldn't sleep, so I went for a walk in the woods." Karolina said looking at them "I really didn't mean to worry anyone."

Nico hugged Karolina tightly as Alex looked down

"How bad is it out there?" Y/n asked

"It's definitely way worse down here. The rest of the world is still intact." Karolina told them

"OK. So this isn't the one that Molly and y/n's parents warned us about." Alex nodded
