Darkness now caged the earth as evening summoned.

Now showered and cleaned.

You contently walk out of your bathroom, into your bedroom which were both connected.

Sitting on your bed, you leaned over and gazed out of the window.

The sight was relaxing, minus the walls.

Gazing at the dimly lit streets, you close your eyes.

Listening to the soft talks of passing pedestrians.

Until you heard a slide by your door; sounding like wrapping paper.

Then footsteps – getting quieter and quieter.

You glanced at your door before getting up and walking to the door.

Opening it slightly, no one was there.

But as you were about to close the door something caught your eye.

An item, placed on the floor.

Picking it up and scanning it, your eyes lit up.

In a clear wrap was a new cleaned green cape, the logo of the white and blue wings proudly beamed at you.

And stitched above in cursive, you smiled unknowingly.

It read.

'Y/n L/n'

Just like your old one.

Back in your bedroom, you shook your head.

As it was quite obvious who had got you this.

---

Screams and cries was all I ever heard.

Continuous cries of my name were called.

Standing on the spot, I dart my eyes around the chaotic scene.

Blood...

Blood is everywhere.

I can't see anything.

The cries sounded again.

Mother...

My mother is screaming for me.

She is going to die.

She needs you.

But I can't see.

Then the cries were silenced.

You woke up with a start.

You were in the covers of your bed.

As sweat trickled down your forehead.

Mixing in with your tears onto the pillow.

Steadying your breaths; this was normal, the usual.

Mother is okay.

She is home.

She is safe.

Is she?

No, she is safe.

The proof was there as she had sent you a letter back regarding her safety.

Sitting up in your bed, now relaxed you just pondered.

Your thoughts brought you back to your new cape.

You understand but still question Levi's acts.

Many people would do the same.

But not if the other person doesn't mean anything to them?

He hated you.

Were you really that important to him for trying to gain your trust back?

Suddenly without control, you felt your cheeks heat up.

You felt an unknown emotion flutter through you.

You frowned at the change.

Dismissing those thoughts, you were brought back to your shadowy room.

Not wanting to sleep anymore.

You glanced down to your hands – they were slighting shaking uncontrollably.

Why am I like this?

You're supposed to be strong.

Yet, you're the one who is crumbling on the inside.

Clenching your hands with force, you dipped your head down.

Gritting your teeth, you inhale, then exhale sharply.

Sitting back up you raking a hand through your h/c hair before settling into bed.

You didn't close your eyes.

Only stared into space to the sound of the pouring rain.

It's cold.

Too cold.

Never ending thoughts clouded your mind of the future.

As an uneasy feeling felt swarmed around your body.
