Bringing the coffee closer to her nose, she took a sniff of it and deeming it safe to drink she brought it to her lips. She didn't trust the other people in the house and those who regularly broke in (mostly pointing to Peter) not to try and poison her. Talia had grown up a true Hale and was ever so slightly a murderer in the making and enjoyed doing many experiments. Grimacing, she put the coffee back down on the kitchen side. It wasn't poisoned but that didn't mean it tasted good.

"-you are not going out in that!" Hayley rolled her eyes before glancing over at the two people who were charging into the main room.

Talia (now sixteen) was being followed by a very angry Derek who wasn't particularly happy with his daughters choice of clothing which was a bandeau, mini-skirt, leather jacket and doc martins. She'd also done her hair and make-up in a way that screamed she was going to a party.

"Mom will you tell dad that he has no control over my autonomy and that he is repressing my feminism and is actively encouraging the patriarchal standards of society and thus destroying my mental health," Hayley only stared at her daughter confused, she understood half of those words.

"Hayley, will you tell your daughter that that is not an appropriate outfit for a sixteen-year-old girl surrounded by... boys," he said it as if the mere words disgusted him.

Sighing, Hayley crossed her arms before looking over to her daughter, "where are you going?"

"Shopping-"

"No, you're going to a house party I just want to know who's," Hayley cut in.

"Jakes."

"Ew," Hayley scoffed, "you can do way better than him so stay away from him," she added on, "but your fathers right your outfit is inappropriate we're in the middle of winter. I don't care how exposing you want to dress just be sensible considering it's freezing outside-"

"No, no exposing," Derek cut in but Hayley held her hand up.

"Derek, shut up," she ordered.

"She's going to get attacked by some horny stupid teenage boy-"

"Talia?" Hayley asked, and the said girl flicked out her claws with a defiant smirk and Hayley nodded satisfied.

"Alright, I'm fine with that. Be back by one."

"Ha!" Talia snapped at her father before she fled from the house to prevent anyone from changing their mind.

Derek looked at his partner exasperated, "you're letting her out in that."

"Yeah," Hayley then began to grin, "I'm the good cop," she mused, and his brows furrowed before he threw his hand to the door.

"She could get attacked!"

"Relax. She can't get drunk, she has claws if needed, and besides... this way she'll think we're nice parents and hopefully be back at one o'clock and if not well... I know which house to phone up about a noise complaint."

"You're going to call the cops on your daughter?" He asked, crossed his arms and she shrugged.

"Hey, I'm the good cop," she mused, "now help me find some good coffee. This stuff is trash."
