"you have his address?" I groan clutching my side
"Yea, you good?" Diego says
"good" I turn invisible and take his keys, "get in" I say appearing in the front seat. Five in the passengers, leaving Diego and Allison in the back
"I can't believe two kids are in the front"
"we're the same age"
"I'm older than you"
When we arrive, Diego goes in front of us.
Allison speaks up, "Be careful, okay? We don't know what Peabody's capable of."
"Yeah, he didn't seem dangerous when I first saw him. Looked kinda scrawny."
"Yeah, well, so are most serial killers and mass murderers. I mean, look at them."
"Thanks." We both mutter
"Good point. So what's this guy want with Vanya?" Diego asks
"I don't know. How about we ask him after we kill him?" Allison says going to find a way in
"Whoa, whoa. Hey, look, I'm gonna burst through... You know what? It would be nice for people just to stick to... the plan. Great."
Five grabs my hand, spatial jumping us in the house. I go to open the door but back away once I hear Diego.
"Ah!" He groans jumping through the window
"Real subtle." I say
"You know, the door was unlocked." Allision points
"Yeah, well, my way works just fine. Spread out. Yell if you, uh... you know, you're in trouble."
"Ah, inspiring leadership."
"One of the greats." I laugh
Me and Five stick together, looking through all rooms
"Guys, you need to see this. All our faces are burnt off." Allison says as we all come in
"how come mine isn't?" I try my best to say
"Well, that's not creepy." Five says groaning
"is that my knife?" My heads starts spinning
"Shit" allision and Diego say
I lean on the wall for support, my knees buckling
"This was never about Vanya"
I fall to the floor, slipping unconscious
"This was about us."
Five falls down too
"Five. Wh..." Allison rushes over to him, lifting up his shirt, "Wh... Blood."
Diego sighs, "Jesus, Eight. Why didn't you say anything?" When he sees mine too
"You have to keep going. So... close."
"Five. Five!"
