I remember all of it. The pain I felt every morning of my childhood, the worried faces of my parents. My father didn't know what it was. Neither did my mother. No one knew what was wrong with me. At first, my father thought it was my genetic mutation of Apnoea Rush. My mother, however, disagreed. I didn't know what it was either since I was only 5-years-old at the time. All I know is that I was the first to experience it.
Adolescence Syndrome, or in simple terms, Puberty Syndrome. Years later, more and more people believed it was a hoax or even a myth. I, however, knew it wasn't a myth. I was the first case of Puberty Syndrome in the entire world. It was shocking. Thankfully, my symptoms soon went away as I got older. It was a relief for my family.
Now, I'm currently 17, living on my own in high school as a junior. I moved into my apartment with my friend, Sakuta. As it turned out, he and his sister were also a victim of Puberty Syndrome. He has scars on his chest where his wounds were. I showed him mine, and I told him my story of how I was the first person to acquire Puberty Syndrome.
He seemed to believe me, and from that day on, we both kept an eye out for any new cases in our area. I still ask myself, why was I the first? More importantly, what causes Puberty Syndrome to occur?
