sooooo i'm the president of basketball operations now.

I KNEW I WAS RIGHT TO BE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OFF-SEASON!!!!!!!!

for USians, this happened the day after the celtics were eliminated but for me this was all the same day!!! safe to say i'm exhausted. first, i got a notification telling me ainge was thinking of stepping down which isn't unexpected, the man is OLD and he had a heart attack not too long ago. he needs to get away from this stressful ass team and focus on managing barkus smart's (legally known as weezy ainge) twitter page. then only a few minutes later, all hell broke loose. SHAMS BOMB: danny ainge is retiring. i didn't even have enough time to speculate who was gonna take his place because another notification comes in saying brad isn't the head coach anymore and he's been promoted to president of basketball operations.

i think it was finally time for danny and the celtics to part ways, i mean he's 62 years old and the way the team is built right now is a clear indication of how much stress this off-season and the next season will have in store for the gm

i think it was finally time for danny and the celtics to part ways, i mean he's 62 years old and the way the team is built right now is a clear indication of how much stress this off-season and the next season will have in store for the gm. he's already had that one heart attack and i don't think more stress is good for him as previously mentioned. i didn't get to witness danny as a player but i was here for most of his gm run and he was a good general manager. of course, he's had his mistakes but overall he's done well with what was available to him. his drafting has always either been a hit or a miss entirely. jayson, jaylen, smart, rob, romeo, pritchard and nesmith are current examples of his hits and grant williams his biggest fucking miss that gives me heart problems in my teenage years. he also traded it4, which gave us eternal bad luck, but we won't discuss that. i'm gonna miss all the jokes about trades he was so close to making but he decided to hold on to a useless second-round pick. i'll also miss the jokes about his assets overall. plus this mf looks like a raccoon and that's a huge plus in my book. gonna miss him and i wish him good luck in his future endeavours. 💚☘️

now on to my white best friend's secsea ass dad 🤪 y'all i don't think everyone understands that we're not getting a coach better than this dumbass

now on to my white best friend's secsea ass dad 🤪 y'all i don't think everyone understands that we're not getting a coach better than this dumbass. i of all people understands that his rotations were sometimes VERY questionable but this dude was a mastermind. if he were to just leave the celtics i bet you he gets instant job offers from other teams because he's that good. of all his coaching seasons in the nba he's had at least 40 wins excluding his first season and this atrocity of a season. in the span of his 8 season career as head coach, the celtics have made it to the ecf three times and have only finished 4th in their division twice. i'm gonna miss coach brad but i'm intrigued to see how gm bradley is. i don't know about what qualifies him for this position but he's smart and has people around him to familiarize him with his new job. when it comes to trades and contracts, however, i'm a bit scared his sentiment with the players having been their coach for a minute will get in the way of how he values them. istg if he doesn't make grant unemployed i will **** *** ***** **** 🥰.
