1 Week Later

Jamie's POV

School tomorrow.

I haven't seen Jack since his tantrum at Hot Topic. Jacob and I still talk but only as friends.

This week has been...just, I don't even know.

I laid in bed, holding Jack's snow globe. Shaking the white fluff around gently.

Please come back, Jack...

"Knock knock," said Jacob as he cracked open my door.

"Hey," I said softly.

"Playing around with that snow globe again I see. Who got it for you? I never asked."

I looked down at my hands, seeing the ceramic white haired boy dressed in blue.

"Just a friend," I shrugged off.

"'Just a friend?' Well, this friend must be very important."

I looked up at Jacob, standing in the middle of my small childhood room. "Yeah, he really is."

"Well, come on, grumpy pants. We're going out!" He expressed.

"Aaaahhhh!!!" I screamed as Jacob pulled me from the bed.

I stood in my snowflake boxers as I watched him scramble through my drawers.

He tossed a white V-neck shirt, a blue plaid button up shirt, and black skinny jeans onto my bed then threw a pair of my blue Converse at my feet.

"Shower. Dress. Then let's go," he instructed.

So I took my sweet time in 15 minutes to shower, brush my teeth, dress and style my hair. Jacob then dragged me down the stairs, threw me my coat and pushed me out the door.

The air was still cool and the ground still white, winter hasn't fully passed.

We hopped into his black Dodge Charger and he began to drive to an unknown destination. I must have dozed off a bit because the next thing I know, Jacob's shaking me saying we're here.

I hop out to see this quaint little restaurant that seemed family owned. Their sign read, Parfait!

"It means perfect, if you're wondering. Kinda like you," Jacob chuckled in my ear.

He walked ahead of me and as I followed behind, the wind really became frigid and picked up.

And I swear I saw a blue hoodie. Oh well then.
