She needed to speak to speak to him again today.
So she decided to speak to after potions again.
"Hey regulus!" She said cheerfully.
Regulus didn't really understand why this girl was going out of her way to talk to him.
"Hey..." he said.
"So what are you doing later?" She asks him.
"Not much really" he said.
"Well I was thinking maybe you could meet
Me in the library to study for the potions test on Friday?" She said nervously.
He smiled, she finally made him smile,
"Sure Cassidy, I'll meet you at four?" He said.
"Sounds great" she said while smiling and she walked off.

Cassidy was so excited to meet with regulus.
She gathered all of her things and walked down to the library.
Once she got there, she searched for him,
She saw him in the very back corner.
She walked towards him.
"Hey!" She said.
He nodded and smiled.
She plopped down in her chair and let her books fall on the table.
"So are you going to help me study?" She said.
"Sure what do you need help with?" He asked.
"I just need you to help me study for the test"
She said. He nodded and got his notes out.
While he was quizzing her, she was trying to think of something to say to spark an actual conversation with him and make him like her more.
"So... why do you like potions so much?" She asked him.
"Well I guess because it's easier for me, and I like learning about it, and I guess slughorn inviting me to his party's is all right" he said, he scratched the back of his neck, almost like he was nervous.
"He has party's?" She asked while laughing.
"Yea but he only invites his favorites and doesn't tell anyone else, but I'm allowed to bring a plus one if I want" he said
"Have you ever brought someone?" she asked
"No there's no one I would really want to invite" he said. *I hope he invites me* she thought.
"Yea there's not a lot of great people at this school" she said.
Regulus laughed. "True, true" he said.
She felt accomplished that she made him laugh, a genuine laugh.
"Well I should be going to dinner, maybe we can do this again some time?" She said while gathering her things. He started doing the same.
"Yea sure, I can meet you tomorrow by the lake and we can study there" he said hopefully.
She nodded and smiled, "I would love too"
She felt her face heating up, so she went on her way.
"I'll see you tomorrow regulus!" She said happily.
He smiled and walked off towards the common rooms.

Tomorrow couldn't come any sooner.
