                    Backstory

Y/n was originally a bubbly, cheerful kid. That was until her childhood home set ablaze on her 8th birthday, murdering her parents, and Y/n barely getting out with her life.

After the incident, with no relatives, she was sent into care. At the age of 9, Y/n was adopted by a middle-aged couple. Only to be abused until she reached double-digits, when she ran away and into the arms of Cherry Blossom.

Now three years later, Y/n was home-schooled by Cherry and learnt how to skate exceptionally well. Although being uncannily smart and witty, Y/n, still dealing with her trauma and abuse, is very shy and closed.

Cherry loves Y/n like she is his biological daughter and does his best to help her with her severe trauma but she still struggles greatly. He kept Y/n a secret, only Joe knowing about the girl when he barged into Cherry's home, discovering the girl eating dinner with his old friend.

Flashback

"YO, CHERRY, COME SKATE WITH ME, YOU OLD FART-" Joe shouted, storming through the door. "Uh- I- Who-who's that?" He stammers, shocked at the girl in Cherry's home, as he hates guests.

Y/n stared at the older man in fear, her hands shaking violently, breath hitching, heart-rate rising. Cherry looked at the girl with concern before quickly scooping her up in his arms and holding her firmly, telling her comforting things, so she'd calm down.

After a few minutes, Cherry walked into his child's room, Joe following silently behind, and gently laying her on the bed with f/c sheets, she fell asleep almost instantly. He walks away from the sleeping child and towards the door, shutting it behind him as he leaves.

"So- um. Were you gonna tell me you had a kid or what?!" Joe whisper-yelled. Cherry sighed. "I was hoping no one found out until she was older..." He mumbled.

"She isn't my kid," Cherry confessed. Joe tilted his head in confusion. "I saw her crying on the street about a year ago... alone... at past midnight."

Joe nods for him to continue. "I went out to see if she was okay. She was clearly exhausted and hurt... and terrified. I asked her where her parents were... she told me they had died only a few years ago,"

"Jesus," Joe mumbled, feeling immense sorrow for the kid.

"Then she told me about how her foster parents abuse her... so I took her in and I'm waiting to adopt her." He admitted, looking at the forest-haired man. Joe smiled softly, placing a hand on his friends shoulder.

End of flashback

But what happens after Cherry befriends Langa and Reki and they repeat history, discovering the now-teen watching tv and eating breakfast with Cherry Blossom?
