Y/N POV

Jessy: Tae, will you be my partner? Tae: Uhh. Yes, why not?

A tinge of disappointment settled in my chest as I watched Tae agree to be Jessy's partner. My heart had hoped for something different, but I masked my feelings.

Kook: Umm, Y/N, will you be my partner?

Jungkook's shy question caught me off guard. I looked at him, his uncertainty endearing.

Y/N: Of course. I'd love to be your partner.

I smiled, deciding to embrace the moment rather than letting it pass by.

Jisoo: Guys, let's go shopping. Rosé: Yes! Let's gooooo. Jessy: Absolutely, let's get moving.

At the Mall

We found ourselves in the men's section, on the hunt for prom attire. I carefully selected a suit for Taehyung, envisioning how he'd look in it. It was perfect for him. In fact, I decided to get suits for all the boys as a token of gratitude for their support during my tough times.

Time passed, and I selected black suits for the boys and elegant red dresses for the girls.

Namjoon: Y/Nahh, why are you buying for us? Y/N: Please, guys, accept this as a thank you for everything, and wear it for the prom night. Them: Sure thing.

Their unanimous response warmed my heart, though Taehyung and Jessy remained noticeably silent.

Jessy: Why should I listen to you? I'll wear what I want. Y/N: I never told you to wear these. So, kindly keep your opinion to yourself.

We left the mall, anticipation for the prom night growing.

Prom Night

As the evening of the prom arrived, I slipped into my chosen dress, feeling a blend of excitement and nerves. My friends also looked stunning in their chosen attire.
