The moment Cale found Roxanne; he knew that he was late.

 

He screamed her name.

 

Late. Late. Late.

 

He yelled desperately to Ron for calling a healer.

 

It was horrifying.

Roxanne was lying down on the floor with a knife stabbed on her chest.

 

She looked frail and vulnerable.

 

"Roxy! Focus on me, please! Don't shut your eyes!"

 

Despite knowing that he was late, he still desperately called her name while pulling her up.

 

He did not aware that he was crying in relieve when she opened her eyes slightly.

 

"Please, hold on. Yes, like that. The healer will come."

 

Cough cough-

"...don't cry..."

 

He looked at Roxanne desperately when she said her words before she fell unconscious.

 

It was difficult.

 

It was difficult to maintain his sanity.

 

He pulled the knife that stabbed in her chest and kept the blood from coming out.

His eyes could not see clearly. The tears had blocked his vision.

 

Please.

He was desperate.

"Roxy....please...."

 

He no longer knew what was he begged.

 

He did not want her in pain for longer than this but he did not want her to give up either.

 

'Ron...hurry up..'

Deep down, he knew an injured heart was almost impossible to overcome. Any normal person would never last this long.

 

'I wish the time has stopped...'
