I could have stayed in my thoughts like that for hours if someone hadn't suddenly knocked on the door. The principal came in, followed by a person I had never seen before.

A boy, very tall, dark with almond-shaped eyes.  He gave the rest of the class a few embarrassed looks, the same as any student arriving in the middle of the year would have done , and then the headmaster approached the literature teacher before whispering something to her. This was followed by a surprised "Ahhh..." from the forty-year-old, then he left, leaving the new one in our hands. I saw the professor scan the room with her eyes, before her gaze fell on the empty seat next to me. I remember praying that she would not send him to sit in the seat next to mine : I liked my solitude, and I was sure that he was just the sort of person to come and break that thing I loved so much. Wish granted. Well, half-fulfilled. She showed him to a seat in the second row.

"- Here, you can take her place. You'll be able to follow the course better, and that way you won't be you won't be too lost. Jungkook, do you mind changing seats? "

"- No, not at all. "

" - Good, then go sit next to Taehyung. "

Another person stood up, giving way to the new one. Tall, dark, with laughing eyes. He walked to the back and took a seat on my right. I couldn't help but blush. I turned my head towards the window in annoyance, limiting any contact with this disturbing element.

"- Hi!"

I gave him a surprised look before turning back to the window.

"- Are you okay?"

Again he faced the silence. I thought, however, that by ignoring him, I had made it clear enough about my clear about my attentions.

"I'm Jungkook. Taehyung, right? "

I sighed and faced him.

"- You know why I always stand at the back of the class? "

"- No? "

"Because at the back of the class I'm alone. And I don't like it when someone comes toto annoy me. I don't know you, I'm not judging you, but please, just leave me alone. "

He was speechless. I expected him to answer me in anger, or to pout, but instead he looked at me and laughed.

"- Seriously? "

He only answered me with a discreet laugh. The teacher kept giving us angry looks.looks at us.

"You're completely unsociable, but I like you! "

"Who the fuck gave me such an idiot? "

He laughed again as I turned again to look outside. I could feel his gaze on me, and it bothered me.

"Are you fucking done ?"

He arched an eyebrow but remained silent. He was waiting for the rest.

"What are you doing here anyway, eh? I've never seen you before! Are you a newcomer too? Can't you go and make friends somewhere else? Go ahead and do it, I'm sure there will be plenty of girls ready to welcome you with open arms! "

A totally rotten and unfair argument, but it was the only one he could think of. He only responded, once again, with a slight laugh, but which, I must admit, was not so unpleasant. Looking at him, he wasn't so bad either. Apart from his boyishness, he was cute.

But an asshole is still an asshole, beautiful or not. My big eyes widened in anger and my face changed color from white to red.He only laughed harder. I stared at him for a few seconds until he calmed down, then I heard him say to me, an amused smile still plastered on his face:
