Our last year in high school went wonderfully well. Jungkook and I had a perfect romance. Hoseok spent most of his time making fun of us, saying that we now looked like a newlywed couple. But I was so happy that I didn't even listen to him.And actually, he wasn't completely wrong. Since that weekend I felt like I was living in a dream.A daydream with Jungkook by my side.Jin and Namjoon had finally gotten together after two long months.Just as I had imagined, they had met one day, hand in hand, and then told us that they had decided to take the next step.We all graduated at the end of the year, some with more ease than others.

Then, as life had to go on, we moved. The goodbyeswere heartbreaking, and there was no doubt that I would miss them. Although after a while they had come to know the life I led before I met them, they probably had no idea how much they had helped me to get by.They meant a lot to me, and no matter what, I was always going to be grateful to them. But we couldn't stay together forever. We promised to keep in touch and see each other as often as possible, whether it was for dinner or a visit. Then we would introduce our children to each other years later, and help each other move after they bought the perfect house. We would laugh at their clichéd little family life while building our own.

For his part, Hoseok had gone on a world tour with friends from Jeju whom he had met a few months earlier when he returned to visit his aunt. He did not like the prospect of long studies, preferring instead to live day by day, with the greatest freedom.

Jin, on the other hand, had entered the National School of Performing Arts in Seoul. He used to tell us all the time how great it was there. He had met new people and spent a lot of time with them, although at the end of the day he was eager to get back into Namjoon's arms. The two boys were in perfect love:They had bought a flat in the eastern part of the capital. Although Jin was currently living in a university dormitory, he planned to move out as soon as his studies were finished.Namjoon had opened a garage to restore old cars.He had discovered a passion and resourcefulness for restoring old cars and hadHe had discovered a passion for restoring old cars and had trained in this field. He still had his pick-up truck, the one we went to New York in, and he intended to keep it for a long time.

And Jungkook and I? Things were going well. At the beginning of our relationship, I was really afraid that he would make fun of me, despite all his attempts to assure me otherwise. I had lived so long without trusting anyone that change was difficult.Habits die hard. Then, little by little, I managedto trust him fully.

We had both entered Seoul University and were doing quite well in our studies. We were doing quite well in our studies. Jungkook was on the university's swimming team, and I went to see him swim whenever I could.

When we were twenty-two, we bought a house on a quiet street in the suburbs of Seoul. When I left for good to live with Jungkook in our little house, my parents didn't object. As usual, they just nodded, and then quickly went back to their work.I felt sorry for them at the time, I had hoped they would try to hold me back a little, but they probably thought I was old enough to make this decision on my own and that no matter what they did, I would still go. I just hoped I could overcome my own stubbornness to re-establish the connection I had lost with them. Before I left, I had also thought of taking Yeontan with me.He had never been adopted by anyone, and I had become attached to him.And the fur ball seemed just as happy as I was to leave this place.

I remember the morning we left. Jungkook and I found ourselves at the station with a single ticket to Seoul in our hands. We had to wait a good twenty minutes for the shuttle to arrive, our suitcases lying next to us with the carrier Yeontan was sleeping in.We didn't wait any longer to put our luggage in the hold and rush to the back of the bus.I had tried to take a quick glance towards the window, but my view was soon blocked by the fog that mercilessly covered every inch of the window.Yeontan was at my feet, so I could always keep an eye on him.I snuggled into Jungkook's arms, lulled by his comforting smell, thinking of all that was to come in the future. After spending a few hours in the shuttle, we settled into our new home without missing a beat. For me,it was my real home.A new beginning, a new life. With the man I loved. A whole new world opened up for me.A world was opening up for me, a world I would explore with Jungkook. It was the beginningof everything. The beginning of a new life. Of my new life with Jungkook.
