the next day i was up and early, the night before i was a wreck, only because today was a dreadful day that i had to make the best out of, so i grabbed a ball from my garage because they always argue to pay. i walk outside and see benny, ham, and smalls walking to my house. we greet eachother and continue to walk.
while walking i suddenly fall seeing who stuck their foot out to trip me. and i see ham pretending to look around like nothing happened.
"fuck you ham" i mumbled and he gives me a cheekily grin and i just smile knowing imma get him back. i look down and see my knee is bleeding.
"fucking ham" i groan
"ham you idiot" benny says kneeling down and looking at my leg. and i just slap the back of his head.
"ouch" he lets out
"benny i'm fine stop overthinking" i sigh and get up and continue walking
"you know Core i'm tired of you slapping me" he rubs his head
"then get rid of me" i smirk
"oh i will" he mumbled but looks up smiling and i just give him a confused look. then i squeal randomly after benny picks me up and runs
"BENNY STOP PUT ME DOWN" i yell hitting him
by that time Valentina is walking right up to us.
"Isn't she light?" Valentina breaks us from our arguing and benny quickly puts me down and his face turns red. after Valentina showed up and played with us at the sandlot, benny basically ignored me. all day i talked to kenny and ham. Kenny, Ham and I sat on the dirt while the others stood in the dugout. well everyone including benny and Valentina. they were flirting the whole time.
"you know core, i would say you are jealous" kenny says
"jealous?" i scoff
"before he didn't even exist to me, i knew him for only a couple weeks now, what makes you think that?" i roll my eyes
"hey core?" ham asks
"hn?" i hum
"i'm really glad you opened up, i would have never thought you would be this cool" ham finishes smiling at the end
"yeah i guess i have to thank benny for that" i sigh
"yeah but with his stupid ass crush on Valentina you ain't gon get no where" kenny says
"yeah you right"i sigh
"hey guys" bertram sits down
"what's up" i say
"you guys wanna go get some ice cream from the new shop that opened in down town?" he asks
"wait that's sound dank" i says now thinking of it
"i can drive us but some of you guys are gonna have to lap it cause my car only has 5 seats" i said and
"YOU DRIVE?" they all yell in sync except ham, benny, smalls, and valentina
"ayyy guys" bertram yells getting their attention
"Coraline is gonna drive us to the new ice cream shop, let's go" he announces
we all start walking to my house. by the time we arrive it's already 6. i unlock my house letting them in. i go upstairs and shower and get dressed into a light brown crop tank top, and some dark brown sweats. putting on my dark and light brown v2 pumas. i slick my hair into a messy bun pulling my hair in the front out. i grab my bag and my keys. i see everyone downstairs watching tv.
