Every Time

I can't just wake up to the sunrise's kiss
Without the burden of your absence next to me

I can't stare in the eyes of the mirror
Without it reminding me of the flaws you always loved

I can't move on
When all roads leading forward, have street signs with your name on them

I just can't entangle the web of emotions you've woven into me
When your touch alone seems to untangle them,
Like repunzels brush to her untamed mane

I just can't seem to grasp sensible thoughts
When your presence holds me prisoner and a slave to all your wishes
I can't help but feel okay with This, You, Us.
