Them. Us.
Two paths. Two destinations... Different outcomes
But navigation overcame the odds
Suddenly forming a T junction in between
Now its an "ours" type of journey
A journey that is bluntly intrusive
An error to our intimacy
Our privacy stuck in traffic because there's too much of "them"
And less of..."us"
Accidents frequent because our speed limit is over exceeded
At the expense of "them"
Thee who found control of our gears
Mmmmh, a 'Convoy' is what they call this
So "we" proceeded along this unwanted path
But I wanted you, I clearly indicated towards our own way
Flashed my hazards to steer "them" away
And you. Did. Not. Follow...you stayed
So I accelerated
My soul being my only fuel because...
You got yours and two hearts beating within you
One being mine trying to jump start yours
Hoping to awaken any feelings for me
It's not a worry though, anymore
I'll clutch and gear 5 straight into my future
A future that has always been my main road
While I've finally left the STOP sign on yours
