The Scout
Chapter 41
'Falling asleep in Ty's arms'.
By: mike hurleyRobin walked with Billie to their room; they held hands & said a silent prayer. Robin stood to go & simply smiled at her little brother. They had been through hell together, & she saw how valiantly Billie fought his emotions.
She thought of calling him 'Little Man', but decided against it.Billie looked up at Robin & said ....If it hadn't been for Shawn, we wouldn't........
Billie's emotions swept in like a flood, he couldn't talk any longer, for fear of revealing his true feelings.
Robin didn't pretend to understand men or boys, but she marveled at her brothers new found control over his tears.
Robin softly continued his sentence......
'We wouldn't be here today'.
How much do you miss him Billie??Too much to measure.
I'll miss you; he whispered; she ran to him for one final hug. Billie was small in her arms, a mere boy, but she sensed the trickle of courage that Billie used to stand just a tiny bit taller. It was the courage of a man.
The courage of her father. This was the very first time Billie faced insurmountable fears, and refused to cry. Only a man does that.
Robin looked at Billie for a moment.....What?? What are you looking at??
You look so much like dad. He would be proud of you, ya know.
I'll wait 5 minutes & wave to you from the attic window. Billie said.
Robin nodded ok, but was too emotional to respond. Memories flooded into her mind...... her mother groaning & falling backwards into the grass.....her life drifting away.....
Robin had to go now before bursting into tears.
She closed the door & ran up the narrow back staircase to Shawn's room; her tears ran
with her.
Robin flung herself onto his small bed & buried her face into his pillow. Robin inhaled deeply; and smelled Shawn's male scent.
Instantly her deep female emotions calmed. But she desired him; every inch of his young male body.Robin yearned to feel his broad shoulders and masculine biceps. To run her hands across his back, and feel the male narrowness of his hips.
Robin heart rate increased as she imagined kissing Shawn, while his strong hands gently squeezed her breasts, and
his lips tasted & sucked her nipples. Her hands running through Shawn's hair, then feeling the strength in his chest, and abs, as his tall manhood slowly entered her.Robin groaned, and savored the memory of being coupled with Shawn. Their bodies had become one, their love now a beautiful dance; Her body, coaxing his warm seed to silently spill into her secret place.
A place no other man would ever visit. After a few moments, Robin sighed and let Shawn go. She understood the vibrance of a fresh love, one sustained by her hand in his. They would walk together into an uncertain future, perhaps moving to Hawaii. She couldn't keep their love on fantasies built upon memories. Robin had to find Shawn and gently tell him......I love you!!
"You & Shawn will be stronger.....together".
That's what Misty told her. Robin assumed Misty knew about the secret intricacies of love.
Robin had heard rumors of how Terrin protected Misty on their long walk to Fort McAdams. And Robin had watched how deftly Misty built a gentle confidence into Terrin at the dinner table.
At first he was nervous and scared when Grandpa asked him to ask the first discussion question during dinner. But now Terrin smiled and even laughed as he joined into the free flowing discussions that made Grandmas dinner table such a fun, inclusive place. Everyone was made to feel important.
