"We used to be the life of the party
Body to body, dance the night away
Shoot tequila straight
Obsessed with each other
And down for another round until last call
Wasn't alcohol"

Beca and Chloe.
Chloe and Beca.
Their friends would always invite them to parties, clubs and brunches.
They know how to party.
And when they do, they go all out.
Beca liked hardcore drinks. Tequila, vodka, any shot you can take, she'll be able to do it.
Chloe on the other hand liked wines, cabernet, champagne and it would take a lot of glasses for her to get drunk.
Chloe liked to dance and it would take several shots of tequila for Beca to join her.
And when Beca danced, she danced the night away and would end up Chloe dragging her out of the dance floor, into a cab and into their apartment.

"We used to be dizzy all morning
Hungover, pouring cups of coffee black
Kiss and crawl right back
Under the covers and down for another
Hour in that bed, now I'm here instead"

It's a miracle that Chloe did not get any hungovers the next morning but for Beca, it felt like she'd been hit by a train going 100 miles an hour.
She hated her hungovers.
Chloe would joke about her wife to take it slow when it comes to drinking but of course, Beca would roll her eyes at the redhead.
Nothing would beat Chloe's coffee when it came to Beca's hungover. She liked it black and Chloe preferred a little milk in hers.
It's fortunate that Beca did not have to work during the weekends but that's because she's the CEO of her own music label.
Chloe on the other hand had to make some arrangements for her animal clinic in which her colleague, Amber, was always delighted to cover it.

A couple years went by and they were still living in the same lifestyle.
Until Chloe.
Chloe was enjoying the party and drinking scene that even at home she's drinking.
A couple of glasses of wine every night was okay but Beca noticed her wife suddenly drinking hard liquor.
Beca confronted her and asked if something's wrong.
Chloe replied that she was just stressed at work.
Beca understood because she too was stressed so she drank too but not as much as Chloe's.
Then one day, Beca came home from work into a passed out Chloe in their room.
Bottles of whiskey and vodka were all over the place.
Beca called 911 and alerted their bestfriends, Aubrey and Stacie.
Chloe was in the hospital for almost a week.
The doctor said she'd had alcohol poisoning.
They recommended Chloe to an AA group.
It was hard at first for the redhead but eventually agreed and completed the steps to sobriety.
In the group, she met Jenny.
Jenny's girlfriend broke up with her when she chose her career in New York and Jenny wanted to stay in LA.
They quickly became friends.
They were celebrating their 3- years of being sober and Beca invited their closest friends to a simple dinner.
Chloe invited Jenny of course.
The dinner was going great until Beca saw Jenny kissed Chloe.
The hard part was Chloe kissed the brunette back.
"Chlo.." was all Beca could say with tears in her eyes.
Heartbroken, Beca packed her bags and stayed in a hotel she partly owned.
Chloe tried to explain but Beca wont let her.
Chloe was devastated and heartbroken.
She did not know what to do.
After Beca saw them, she ended her friendship with Jenny.
Chloe knew she messed up big.
She went to Aubrey's and crashed their for almost a week.
She's trying so hard to talk to Beca.
She's running out of ideas.
She hit a wall.
She drank.
Three years of being sober, gone.
Down the drain.

Chloe went to Beca's hotel and asked for Beca.
Apparently she's DJing in a nearby club.
Chloe handed an envelope to the receptionist and asked her to give it to Beca.
She then walked out of the hotel, her mind wandering.
She didn't notice the incoming truck.
She heard the muffled sound of a horn and people shouting and yelling.
Then it was all darkness.

"You're the reason there's no whiskey anywhere inside this house
You're the reason all my friends know I don't go downtown
You're the reason I hate champagne, never used to turn it down
You're the only thing I want when one drop hits my mouth
But baby, you're the reason
I quit drinking"

That was three months ago.
Beca was twirling Chloe's three year sobriety chip in her fingers.
She wrote the song one late night when she couldnt sleep.
Its true.
She quit drinking.
She made a promise on Chloe's deathbed.
No more shots.
No more wine.
No more Chloe..
