• Chapter 42 •

The next day, Drishti and her family got ready to meet the Shergills. Rakshit's father had already called his friend who was a priest to find the auspicious day for the marriage.

They reached at Shergill mansion where they were warmly welcomed by Rakshit and his family. They sat and discussed about the marriage. Finally, it was decided that the pre wedding functions will be started in the next week followed by the wedding.

Rakshit and Drishti were very happy. The elders were busy in the arrangements and all. While our Rakshit and Drishti were busy daydreaming about their wedding and each other. Rakshit and Drishti were not allowed to meet each other till their pre wedding start.

Next day as it was decided they went for shopping. Rakshit and Drishti were happy that atleast for today they will be able to meet each other because after that no one was going to allow them to meet each other.

Rakshit and Drishti reached the mall with their families and smiled seeing each other. First they went to select rings for their engagement. They selected the rings according to each other's choice.

After that they went to select bride and groom's clothes. As per everyone's choice, Drishti took two dresses with her and went in the changing room.

Rakshit taking this golden opportunity went behind her secretly without anyone's notice. She changed into one of the dresses and was about to come out when he barged inside pushing her in.

She was about to shout when he put his hand on her mouth to prevent her from shouting. Her eyes widened when she realised he was none other than Rakshit.

"What are you doing here, Rakshit?", Drishti asked after calling down herself.

"I am here to take something from you!", Rakshit teased her.

"What? Are you mad? Someone will see you here! Get out!", Drishti pushed him towards the door.

"No Drish! You only said you would give it me when everything will be sorted. And now everything is more than sorted so...", Rakshit said and leaned towards her.

"Wait! What are you talking about? See Rakshit I am not getting a word of what you are saying!!", Drishti said in confusion.

"What is this yaar! Come on you know what I mean!", Rakshit said and leaned more.

"Rakshit I don't know what are you saying!!", Drishti said clearly.

"Oh god! When we confessed our feelings and I was about to kiss you and you said that we will kiss when we tell Divya about us. And now we have informed Divya as well as our parents. So now I can kiss you right!?", Rakshit said suprising Drishti as she had totally forgot about the kiss.

"But here? We can do it later right! Let's go everyone must be waiting out for me. I should go.", Drishti tried to escape from there.

"No I won't let you go anywhere until I kiss you!", Rakshit said firmly and pinned her to the wall.

"Rakshit please not now! May be some other time.", She said with puppy eyes.

"See Drishti this time I won't leave you. And seeing you in this beautiful bridal dress I am not able to control anymore.", Rakshit said.

"Acha this dress is beautiful and what about me?", Drishti asked.

"You are not beautiful....", Rakshit was cut by her.

"Acha I am not beautiful then you get out! I thought I would give you a kiss but now not at all! Just get out from here.", She pushed his hand and turned to another side.

"Aree! First listen completely. I was saying that you are not only beautiful but also sweet, innocent, loving, caring, hot, se..", Rakshit was stopped by a hand on his mouth.

"Bas bas! I understood! No need to continue further!", She said blushing profusely and removed her hand.

He immediately slid his hands on her waist and pulled her on his chest. She looked down not able to look into his eyes. He raised her face by her chin and made her look into his eyes.

Both were drowned into each other's eyes. His eyes were asking her permission to continue further. She closed her giving him the permission. He leaned in and placed his lips on hers. She felt his lips moving on hers. Slowly she also responded the kiss.

They broke the kiss and were breathing heavily. Drishti moved towards the door blushing when he held her hand and said,

"By the way, you taste amazing!", Rakshit said making the red colour on her cheeks more dark.

"Shameless!", She said and was about to leave.

"I am shameless but only for you!", Rakshit whispered in her ears. She immediately left the room and went towards there parents. .

"Why did you take so much time Drishti? And this Rakshit is also nowhere! Was he with you?", Drishti's mother asked.

"No Mumma! Why Rakshit would be with me? He must have gone somewhere else. And I am late because there was a long queue there so...", Drishti replied immediately. Till the time she completed Rakshit had already come.

"Okay! Rakshit has also come now let's complete the shopping fast because we have so much arrangements left to be done.", Drishti's father said and everyone was busy shopping. They completed their shopping till the evening and went home back.
