Leo's POV:

Frank sprung into action, drawing out his sword while I cowardly stopped all movement. I didn't have a weapon to defend myself so I had to rely on Frank. Based on the first impression I gave him and blowing up his home, I'd say he was going to let whatever it was, eat me or throw me overboard himself.

As he slowly approached the vent, the sound increased along with weird squishy sounds. Okay, so it's not wind or smoke like I usually intended it to be.

As I advanced towards the cause of the noise, I handed Frank a nearby screwdriver that was strewn on the floor. He accepted it, not batting an eye at me as he began to unfasten the screws.

After the last screw hit the floor with a clatter, the vent swung open and revealing a creature that Frank and I didn't expect at all.

It was a translucent lime-green slime. It wore black square glasses and it appeared to be smiling at them.

"Dap me up!" it said, with a cheery male voice.

Without thinking, Frank jabbed at the creature with his sword. It responded by dodging Frank's weapon and slipping out of the vent with a loud squish. I knelt to the slime creature who kept repeating "Dap me up!" to Frank.

"Uh, what are you?" I asked, poking at it with my gloved finger.

The slime had an offended look on his face as it stared up me. I realized that it was smaller then it was in the vent - it was only about a foot tall compared to me.

"My name is Slimecicle, now dap me u-"

Sadly, he never got to finish that sentence as I watched my slime friend that I've only known for a minute get squashed under someone's grime covered black and gray basketball shoes. Gazing up, the last person I expected to see was-

Percy's POV:

"Hey Leo, just came to check up on you," I said.

I tilted my head in confusion as I saw him look up, a shocked and dejected look plastered on his face.

"What's wrong?"

Suddenly, he started bawling his eyes out, clawing at the area where my foot was before.

"NOOOOO! SLIMECICLE!" he cried out, sobbing.

I bent down and patted Leo's back to comfort him still confused about the situation that just happened until I heard someone's muffled voice near me.

I turned to Frank who still had his sword in his hand, "Did you say something?"

He shook his head regarding my question. I sighed but stopped as I felt a weird sensation on my shoe. I tugged at my leg to discover the source and was met with a slime creature with eyes and glasses in the shape of stepped on bubblegum. A disgusted expression formed on the slime as it stuck it's tongue at me and leaped onto Leo's curly brown hair. Leo stopped crying when he glanced up to see it on his head, a smile spreading on his face.
