As Ava and I were talking while walking to the area where we last met, a cold breeze surrounded us and disappeared.

'What was that? Is there a ghost?'

Ava asked in a scared tone. I shook my head, and told her that it was just the natural wind. We reached our destination and instead of seeing the five Daemos, we saw Lady Bish and Zex, pinning the five of them to the ground, unconscious. I froze and panicked in my mind. Lady Bish glared at us.

'So, this is what you two were doing? Planning to betray me and the kingdom? Pathetic.'

Zex grinned and hid his dagger in who knows where.

'You.'

He pointed at Ava.

'You're a human, aren't you?'

None of us answered. Lady Bish laughed.

'I must say, you two were great at acting about your history. Guards.'

Immediately, nine guards showed up and placed chains around our hands on our back and casted a spell.

'It was wonderful to meet you two, but I'm afraid you'll have to be executed early. Take all of them them to the dungeons.'

Lady Bish commanded the guards. While they were taking us to the castle, the last thing I saw was Lady Bish's wicked smile..

I woke up, and accidentally hit my head while I was trying to sit up, but the ceiling's too short. We were in our separate cells. Noi was sobbing and saying sorry a lot to Ava, who was also awake already, and me. Asch sighed told Noi to shut up. Rhys was rubbing his forehead, frustrated that all of us got caught. Leif asked out loud,

'So, what now? Do we just accept our fate?'

'No.'

Pierce said, who was one cell away from Leif. Asch asked Rhys if he has another plan.

'I.. I...'

We all took it as a no. I heard Ava starting to cry as well. We were halfway close to completing our plan.. But now we lost hope. Asch punched the cell wall in anger. There was a small crack on my cell wall, I peaked through it and Ava was there. Her "horns" were gone. I sighed and sat down on the floor.

Ava was still crying, I decided to at least calm her down a bit. I started singing '[*insert a song that calms you down/comforts you*]' Ava slowly stopped crying and hummed the song with me. Just like old times..

As I reminisced the times while we were on earth with the Daemos, I slowly stopped singing and was getting tired. I leaned my head on the wall and fell asleep..
