I'm sat on the couch, watching the Scissoring, my favourite movie since, believe it or not, I was the one who introduced Jade to it, when Tori's phone starts to ring, interrupting Trina's terrible photoshoot and Dad's broken conversation with her. I pick it up per Dad's instructions, holding the phone to my ear.

"Hello, Tori's phone. Emily speaking." I say, smirking as I say it as if I'm a secretary.

"Emily? You're the pretty one with pink streaks in her hair, right?" He asks, he being Mark McCallan. We went on a date like a couple weeks before I went on my first date with Beck, who was annoyed since he had asked me out about twenty times already and Mark only asked me once, and kissed but I guess he didn't remember. Oh well, he sucked at kissing anyway. Beck's way better.

"That's me." I reply bluntly, pausing my movie as Trina watches me as I mouth to her who it is and she starts rambling on about him to Dad, who just leaves the room telling us to  make sure he knows our dad is a cop.

"So I was calling to talk to your sister but maybe you wanna go out with me?" He asked, in a voice I could clearly hear the smirk behind it, even through the phone.

"I have a boyfriend." I tell him before giving the phone to Trina while talking to him about Tori having plans on Friday, since when I had no idea because usually the only people she hung out with were people she met through me and nobody had invited her to Karaoke Dokie, or at least I don't think.

Speaking of Tori, she walks down the stairs just as Trina is accepting his invitation to go mini-golfing with him. Feeling like causing drama, I mouth Mark's name to my twin, pointing at the phone in Trina's hand. My older sister then notices Tori stood there and quickly hangs up.

"Why were you on my phone?" Tori asks her, knowing the reason but just wanting to see if Trina will crack, which knowing Trina, she probably will and pretty soon as well. I love having a dramatic family, it's so entertaining, when the drama doesn't concern me or Beck of course.

"I wasn't." Trina lies, only then noticing the phone is still in her hand, throwing it on the other side of the couch as me to avoid getting her hands chopped off with a pair of scissors Jade gave me for my birthday last week. Beck got me matching bracelets with him so now we have our necklaces and our bracelets.

"Do you think you didn't just see you toss my phone on the couch?" Tori asks, crossing her arms in a 'do you think I'm stupid?' way with her eyebrows raised. Beck uses that look on me a lot when I lie about sabotaging something with Jade.

"Mark McCallan was on the phone. I told ya." I remind her, her giving me a snarky look in response. I roll my eyes, zoning out as she starts to chase Trina around the room, putting my movie back on. However, I zone back in, the movie stopping again when Dad says,

"You're not going anywhere on Friday." He said it to Trina but he looked at Tori as well so I thought it was me too, which is why I zoned back in.
