The party was started and the driveway was packed with cars. Music from the speakers was heard all over the house for teenagers to dance, drink, and chat.
Travis POV
I came out of Dante's car and entered the Ro'Maeve mansion.
The living room was crowded with people from different high schools that I don't recognize. I spotted Garroth and the group near the Dj stand and make my way over to them.
"Travis! Dante! You made it" Lawrence yelled over the music.
Dante and I danced over to them. I bobbed my head to the music but noticed Katelyn and Jeffrey dance together. Jeffrey and her playfully grind on each other as they dance.
"Hey Travis have some fun and drink!" a very drunk Laurence yells and gave me a red cup then went dancing with some girls.
I took a sip but it wasn't booze, it was fruit punch.
"Laurence too drunk to get me wasted..." I muttered and drank again
"Travis" I jumped and spit punch at Katelyn's face
"Sorry! You popped out of nowhere" I apologized
"Its... Fine" she got a napkin from the snack table and wiped off the punch "but I wanted to ask how you've been? You keep avoiding me so I thought you hate me or something"
"I don't hate you... I just find it awkward since you cheated me and all" I explained and looked at my cup
"I know but can we still be friends like before?" she asked
"I can't be friends with you"
"Travis-"
"No because of you I questioned myself if I was the one that made you want to sleep with Jeffrey. For 3 months, I've been through a lot of pain because of you and you want us to be friends without an apology? ...I've gotten over you but you betrayed me" I said letting out some pent up feelings
Katelyn looked speechless and didn't know what to do.
"Katelyn over here!" Aphmau called
Katelyn glance at me before going to Aphmau.

I got bored and wandered upstairs, maybe I can find Zane around here.
I got to the third floor and walked down the hallway. There was a huge sign on the door saying do not enter with a scratched-out shadow knights sticker. I knocked on the door and heard "Can't you read?! Get out"
"Zane it's me Travis" I knocked again
Zane opened the door and asked, "what do you want?"
"Just wanted to hang out with you, it's boring downstairs. Everyone is just wasted" I whined
"Ugh Fine" he rolled his eyes and let me in
"Whoa your room is huge" I awed
"It's nothing special..." Zane comments as he went to his desk
I approached the grand piano in his room.
"Don't touch that!" He snaps "I just cleaned that"
"Sorry" I backed away from it "so you practice at home too?"
"Yeah for the school recital on Monday"
"There's a school recital for charity... of course the athletes don't care about that stuff" he scoffs
I rolled my eyes and looked at a selfie above his desk. I walked up to it for a closer look.
"What are you-" Zane noticed the selfie and grabbed "why are you so nosey?"
