As he finished reading the note, Cosmo felt several waves of emotions hitting him all at once. Initially, he felt excited that there was a baby growing inside him. He and Wanda finally managed to get what they wanted and could finally get ready to start a family of their own. But on the flipside, Cosmo felt his stomach twinge and his legs squirm. He also looked down at his stomach to see that it was starting to bulge slightly. He knew he had to tell her, but he didn't just want to tell her like it was no big deal.

Cosmo didn't know much about well..anything. But he did know that Wanda wasn't stupid. He didn't have too much time before his stomach really started to swell, so if he was going to surprise her, he was gonna have to do it soon.

What am I gonna do? Should I ask Timmy? No, he's not that good at keeping secrets., he thought to himself before noticing the calendar near his nightstand. It read June 12th, just 5 days until their anniversary...

Maybe I can tell her as her anniversary present? Eh maybe..is the 10,003rd anniversary the one with the lobsters? I really hope they don't pinch me like they did at that seafood joint

Cosmo felt his excitement surface again as he continued to rub his belly, almost wishing it could be born already. He imagined holding the small child in his arms, rocking them back and forth while feeding them. Something he could never do with a godchild. He had always wondered what it would be like to comfort a crying baby instead of being the baby that needed comforting.

Between the two of them, Cosmo always felt that Wanda was the strong one. She was very logical and knew how to solve problems while Cosmo would either be the cause of them, or too emotional to think straight. He felt that it was his duty as her husband to protect her, but throughout their marriage, it had been the other way around. Wanda knew he loved her, but to Cosmo it felt like he was too weak to do what most male fairies (or men in general) are capable of doing. The only two people he could think of that were even weaker than he was were Binky and his father. Heck, even Jorgen didn't pound his father like he would with most fairies since he felt like it was the same as punching a defenseless toddler.

Oh poof, dad! He probably wants to know what the doctor said. Should I call him or., Cosmo thought to himself, reaching towards his phone before stopping himself Eh, I should probably tell him in person. I wonder if Wanda would be willing to get lunch with me and my parents. Actually, no. I don't want her and Mama fighting in the middle of this. I guess I can surprise them then. I think Timmy still had school tomorrow.

Cosmo's thoughts were interrupted by a loud knock on the door, forcing Cosmo to quickly throw the letter under his pillow and lie down on the bed.

"How are you feeling, Cosmo?", Wanda asked, placing her wand on the nightstand.

"A bit better. I didn't throw up in the bathroom this time!"

"Uh..that's good I guess. Gross but good.", Wanda said, lying down next to him, "Timmy can be such a handful sometimes."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Nothing. He just asked for a bunch of dumb wishes this evening. Like, we just got back from snowboarding and he asked for a chocolate snowboard."

"You guys went snowboarding? I wanted to come!", Cosmo whined while Wanda stoked his cheek.

"Not when you're sick, sweetie. I wouldn't want anything bad happening to you."

"W-what do you mean? I'm magic too! I could handle it."

"I'm sure you could but I would prefer you get better first. I'm sure Timmy feels the same."
