Chapter 14

"What the hell is happening?"

"We're under attack, hindi pa ba obvious Audrey?" Sofi blurted out while walking back and forth.

These two ladies in front of me are panicking inside their body. Compared to these two guys leaning on the wall, they're impressively composed.

"How did they trespassed?" Adrian spoke and turn his head towards Damian's place. "Do we have traitors inside?"

"Wrong question." Ian answered and suddenly look around us.

"Do we still have our fathers?"

With his question, I suddenly felt suffocated. Parang biglang bumalik ang pagaagaw hininga ko kanina mula sa bumalot na usok sa arena.

As soon as I saw the grenade, I picked it up immediately and threw it towards another direction. Hindi pa totally tanggal ang clip kaya malakas ang loob ko na damputin pa iyon.

After the explosion, we heard another explosion. A smoke enveloped our surroundings. Instinct na lang na magtakip at hindi 'yon amuyin. I was grabbed on my arms by Ian. Kasunod ng pagtakbo namin ay ang ilang anino na nakita kong tumatakbo rin.

I just found out that it was the Lowe's siblings and Sofi, when we reached into a room.

Luckily, it wasn't poisonous. Ang sigurado lang namin ay walang malay ang lahat maliban sa amin. And just like what Ian asked. We don't know what happened to our fathers. The only thing I remember was they're evacuating too.

"You heard that?"

Dahil sa sinabi ni Sofi ay pareho kaming lahat na mabilis na napasilip sa bintana nang makarinig ng sigaw. We all clearly heard it.

Ang isang sigaw ay naging dalawa. Hanggang sa naging tatlo. Hanggang sa biglang dumami ang mga taong sumisigaw. Kasunod ng sigawan, ay ang sunod sunod na pagputok ng baril.

"What the hell was that?"

Maski ako ay hindi makasagot. We can't see clearly upon here. Puno pa rin ng usok ang paligid at pigil pa rin namin ang aming sarili na langhapin iyon.

"We're all Mafiosos. Paanong hindi sila lumalaban? Don't get me wrong. We can fight for ourselves as soon as we get consciousness. But why they can't?" Audrey asked again.

"One thing to do to find out." Adrian answered.

"If I immediately die at this state, I'm telling you Adrian. I'll bring you with me."

I clicked my tongue upon hearing Sofi's voice. Ang kukulit. Sabing huwag maingay.

Sofia and Adrian keep nagging each other. Adrian is the one who decided to went outside. He was followed by his sister. Wala na akong nagawa dahil mas ayos na ang may gawin kami kaysa maghintay. Though we still don't know what we're dragging us into.

Sofi together with Lowe's siblings will be sneaking in the arena. While Ian and I will be the bait. Magpapahabol kami sa mga nakabantay at pipilitin na bawasan sila.

We still don't know where are the others. Dahil ang tanging nakikita lang namin ngayon dito mula sa posisyon namin ay ang arena na binabantayan ng halos sampung tao na balot sa itim na kasuotan. Bantay sarado nila ang mga professors na nandito. While the students are nowhere to be found here.
