This is the combination of two missions: Fortress and 8492.

I made the "Fortress" short since it was a lot long to process. Enjoy :)

"Look at that wreckage." Pops said. "I'm amazed they're still making 'em like this."

Pops and Genette were standing outside the hangar, under the sunset, staring at a wrecked plane covered in a large tarp.

"They?" I asked.

"This looks like a standard fighter jet, but it's actually different. They've done a lot of things to reduce the number of parts and cut down manufacturing costs, without sacrificing the plane's strength and performance. Very cost-effective. You could make three planes for the price of two this way." Pops explained. Genette turning to look at him with visible confusion.

"Who's this "they" you are referring to?" He asked.

"North Osea Grunder Industries. Formerly the South Belka Munitions Factory, run by the Belkan government."

"But Osea's taken over that land now. South Belkan technology is being used for Osea. Why does Yuktobania have this?"

"Good question. Actually, speaking of Belka... Osea recruited some Belkan flying aces after the war fifteen years ago to strengthen our Air Force. You know about this?"

"No... Really?"

Pops nod his head and took a seat on a crate close by, patting his legs and looking at Genette again.

"An aggressor squadron comprised entirely of Belkan aces... Our old enemy. Well, that's the rumor, anyway."

After what Blaze's info gathered revealed to him, he knew the rope is closely going to cut loose.

"Even an old fox like me isn't sure they exist. I bet the current administration isn't even aware of the story."

"You what?!"

"You hear me? Only Wardog Squadron are going to this mission and nothing else. The nuggets are still nuggets, they will be useless to bring them there."

During the meeting about the all out attack in Cinigrad. Blaze decides to bring the nuggets along with them to easily damage the entire fortress with much force. Since they were well trained and nearly reach up to their flying skills, her wingmen agrees with her. However, the top brass denied her request, which frustrated her.

"Useless? We've trained them for few months now!" Nagase said.

"This is the high command's orders, not ours. Even if we let these pilots fly, they insisted from fighting to this mission." Hamilton explained.
