When in the presence of strangers, Jungkook was always handsome and cold, making it difficult for others to get close to him. He was like the frosted snow - pure, and slightly chilly. Yet, he was also like the river flowing in the dark night - quiet...
"What did you say? Doctor Song absolutely does not like the kind of men like Cold Face?"
Bambam jaw drops from shock. Lalisa spreads her arms out helplessly, "What can I do? It's what she said. A few others in the medical office heard it too."
They both secretly look toward Cold Face.
Big Brother Cold Face is sitting by the window. His cold and fair white side profile is manly and gentle. He tilts his head to light up a cigarette and doesn't comment. Chatterbox starts blabbering, "That little girl says she doesn't like Cold Face? How can she possibly not like Cold Face? Cold Face is the most popular man in the whole police station. He's miles ahead of me and Bambam! How could there be someone who doesn't like him?!" He talks out loud with an angry expression on his face but it's obvious that he's making fun.
Bambam, who's also "not a popular man," is pleased inside hearing his words: this is too childish and a little overboard!
Lalisa is in battle mode to help Cold Face fight for his love. She leans against Cold Face's table full of worry, "Big Brother Cold Face, what should we do now? Why don't I lure her to our office and you la-....."
Before she could finish, Jungkook presses down on her head, "What rotten idea are you coming up with?"
Lalisa responds, "What about it?....."
"What you don't want to be done to you, don't do to others (idiom)." Jungkook says indifferently, clearly hinting something. In others eyes, he's cool and handsome looking and carries a sense of responsibility. But Lalisa understands him right away and her face blushes.
She indeed did not have the "appetite" last night, but he still "did it"! F-k!
The other four are chit-chatting while Cold Face, the subject of discussion, continues smoking with his head down. Without saying anything, he gets up and leaves.
The medical office is in another building. The sun is shining quietly at this hour and there aren't a lot of people around. Doctor Song is on the second floor. There are a couple of small plants in the balcony and the wind is blowing on the curtains lightly.
Cold Face is standing below, smoking while leaning against the lamp post. After a while, he spots the cute and soft girl of his wearing a white coat walking out of the office. She's holding her chin with her fingers and looking far away like she's staring into nothingness out of boredom.
Cold Face continues smoking like this. His usual expressionless face finally shows a bit of disappointment.
She doesn't like him?
Why?
The long-awaited feeling of interest; does it have to end before it begins?
The last time he felt this way, it lasted three years before he was dumped. This time, he hasn't even started and it's over......

The medical office at the police station is actually not busy at all. It's early in the morning and Yuqi has nothing to do. She feeds her goldfish, water the plants, and then walks around on the balcony.
She's just carelessly wandering until she lifts her head and sees a familiar figure down below.
The sun is shining brightly. He's dressed in his police uniform while leaning against the wall in the corner and smoking. His head is tilted upward as if he looks this way. Yuqi's face flushes immediately.
He's here.
He's here again.

Although everybody calls him Cold Face, even the lady at the cafeteria would greet him cheerfully, "Cold Face, you're here," Yuqi remembers his actual name well. It's becaus his name is just like him; it makes one's heart beat fast in panic from just one look.
The best kind of love in the world is one where both individuals are in love with each other and understand each other. But if he doesn't take action and she doesn't have the confidence, this relationship will be destined to be bittersweet.
Yuqi stands there quietly and pretends that she doesn't see him. But she can't stop looking at him from the corner of her eye. After a few minutes, she sees him toss the cigarette to the ground suddenly and step on it.
And then.......
He's coming toward the medical office.
Yuqi runs inside quickly. She takes a big drink of water and pats her burning face with her hands. She steadies her breathing and pretends to be calm and composed.
Cold Face knocks on the door, comes in and sees this. The office is quiet, clean, and warm; just like her. She's sitting behind the desk. Her features are refined and pretty.
Cold Face's heart pounds quietly without anybody knowing.
A certain thought is becoming more firm and clear:
She wants him to give up?
It won't be that easy.
The atmosphere seems to be filled with uneasiness and anxiousness.
Cold Face sits down in front of her desk.
Yuqi's eyes are glued to the medical book in front of her, not daring to look into his eyes. It's because his gaze is blazing, and it always makes her feel uncomfortable.
"Your wound is already fully recovered, so you don't have to come anymore," she says. She's all down to business. Cold Face feels his heart being hurt again. After a moment, he answers, "The wound feels a bit uncomfortable today, can you take a look at it again?"
Cold Face seldom acts like a scoundrel. But probably because he's been around Jungkook for too long, so he admits that he's been influenced by him......
"Oh, take off your shirt then," Yuqi says indifferently while feeling a bit disappointed inside- it turns out that he's only here because his wound feels uncomfortable.
But isn't this normal? Otherwise, why would he come looking for her? It's not like he has feelings for her, right?
Cold Face turns his back to her and unzips his jacket revealing his shirt inside. He unbuttons his shirt and lowers the top exposing his wounded shoulder. Yuqi stands up bending slightly over to take a look at it.
It's been healed very well...... Why would he feel discomfort?
"What kind of discomfort are you feeling?" she asks him seriously.
What kind of discomfort?
Cold Face can't find an answer to that. He remains quiet for a few seconds and then replies slowly, "Itchiness. A bit of pain and fidgety."
