Boiling rains

Luz and Amity were having there're weekly Azura book club meetup,they decided to go to the owl house this week. They took turns reading when they herd lightning outside, "Boiling rains! Everyone inside!" Eda yelled, "well looks like I'll be here a while," Amity said chuckling "yep :)" they both walked downstairs and talked to Eda for a bit, "I suppose your staying the night then, no one should be going out there in this condition," "yeah, your okay with it right?" "Of course kid, just don't be loud I want to sleep" she chuckled a bit and walked upstairs and Luz and Amity sat on the couch. Amity took out her scroll to text her parents that she was staying at Luz's place. They sat there for a while talking and after a while they are and went upstairs back to Luz's room. "So Amity,whatcha wanna do?" "I don't know, what do you want to do?" "Want to finish reading out Azura chapter and watch dumb videos on my phone?" "Sure" after a few hours Amity started to get tired,and Luz noticed, "wanna borrow a pair of my pajamas for the night?" Luz said grabbing some shorts and a hoodie and tossing them over to Amity. "Thanks Luz" she walked over to the bathroom to change, "should I tell her tonight?" She thought to herself. After a long minute of questioning if she should tell Luz, she walked back to her bedroom to see Luz in her pajamas as well, "so there's only one bed, but we can share, if your okay with it," Blush quickly rose to Amity's face, she sat down next to Luz hugged her very tight, "you okay Amity?" She waited a few seconds to let go, then took a deep breath, "Luz your amazing-in every way I can think of, I don't want to keep this bottled inside me anymore,(especially since we're spending the night together and I can't handle that)" she took another deep breath and closed her eyes tight, "I like you Luz, more than a friend like,romantically" she kept her eyes closed and assumed that she'd rejected but instead she hugged her again, "I like you too Amity" Amity quickly pulled away from the hug and blurted out, "wait really? You really like me?" "Yeah how could I not? Your the Amity Blight!" Luz stopped thinking, at that moment, all she could think about was Amity. Amity was about to say something but was quickly stopped but Luz kissing her, she sat there for a second,shocked, but she kissed back, once they stopped she smiled at the human. Luz was about to apologize when Amity kissed her again, this time lasting longer, they both felt as if time had stopped, they wanted to stay like this forever. After almost a minute, they separated, and started laughing and the just looking at each other. They both laid down, and before they could fall askeep, Amity said, "I love you Luz, will you be my girlfriend?" Luz sat up and looked at her "of course" they shared a short but sweet kiss,before falling asleep cuddling
