The realization

Hi, this contains spoilers from episode 5 of season 2 so don't read if you haven't watched it yet
Luz pov:
She kissed me. She kissed me. I was sitting on the ground in complete shock for a few minutes before I started to walk back to the owl house. My face was still slightly red from everything that just happened. Once I got back home Eda immediately noticed how I looked, "what happened to you?" "Long story" she looked extremely confused but I just went up to my room. As soon as I got changed into my pajamas I sat on my bed and texted Willow,

Luz: Willow you will not believe what just happened!
Willow: What
Luz:I was at Amity's house because we were at the library and a bunch of stuff happened but anyways I was at her house and her hair was purple and it was super pretty and then we found out about this human that lived on the boiling isles and then she KISSED ME
Willow: oh jeez that's a lot
Luz: Yeah but whatever she kissed me I think she might like me back :)
Willow: oh thank Titian you figured it out
Luz: what
Willow: it's so obvious that you two are in love with each other it's about time that one of you figured out that you both like eachother
Luz: you really think she likes me?
Willow: y e s
Luz: okay I have to go to bed now but do you wanna hang out around noon tomorrow?
Willow: yeah see you then night
Luz:night
End of conversation
I sat my phone down beside my bed and just thought for a little bit
Does Amity really like me? Maybe I can ask her out, idk I'll talk to Willow about it tomorrow

Magical time jump to the next day

I woke up and got ready as usual and went over to Willow's house
"Hi Willow!"
"Hey Luz"
They talked for awhile about school and other stuff when Luz brought up the topic,
"Hey so, I was thinking that I could ask Amity out next time me and her hang out, can you help me?" "Yeah of course!" We talked about it for a while and I texted asking Amity if she wanted to hang out tomorrow.

Amity pov (also the day before after she kissed Luz lol)
"Why did I do that why'd I do that why'd I do that?!" I kept saying over and over again walking to my room. Once I got there I went inside my room and sat against the door,
"Why did I do that?! What if she thinks I'm weird now? What if she doesn't like me??" "Of course she likes you!" I heard before a following knock on my door, I opened it and Em walked in.
"What are you worried about Mittens?"
"I just think that Luz doesn't like me back,I really like her"
"I've seen how she looks at you,she likes you, trust me. Why don't you sleep on it?"
"That's a good idea, thank you Emira"
"No problem baby sister"
After that she left and I went to bed.
The next morning I slept in which I don't normally do, once I got up and got breakfast I looked at my scroll and saw that there was a message from Luz and freaked out not knowing what she was going to say
Luz: Hey Amity! Wondering if you want to come to the owl house tomorrow morning?
Oh titain. What if she wants to talk about what happened?? Oh no what if she's mad about it? No, don't think about that.
Amity: yeah I'd love that
Luz pov and also time jump to the next morning
I woke up at 7am so I could get ready before Amity got here, I already told Eda what I was doing so she and king left the house for the day, about an hour after I got ready I heard a knock followed by hooty being annoying as normal.
"Luz? Are you home?"
I quickly ran to the door and took a deep breath before opening the door, "hi amity! How are you?" "I'm good, how are you?" "I'm great, I mean not great but also like, not bad, you know what what ever let's go to my room"
I grabbed her hand and ran up to my room where we sat on my bed,
"I wanted to talk about what happened the other day with us..."
Amity pov
Oh no, what if she's mad? She doesn't sound mad? Whatever,
"Luz I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that I should have asked and I'm sorry" I looked down avoiding eye contact,
"What? No Amity I'm not upset about it, I actually liked it" she whispered the last part but I still heard,
"You did?"
"Yeah..."
I could feel blush rising to my cheeks but I saw that she was blushing too so at this point I didn't care,
"I was wondering if you'd maybe want to go out with me? Like on a date? You as a, couple"
I immediately turned red. She wanted to go on a date-no,she wanted to be a couple??
I could say anything so I just gave her a huge hug, "is that a yes?" "Of course it is!!! I love you!" It took me a second but I quickly pulled away from our hug and looked down again realizing what I just said, almost a minute had past so I figured I had to speak up, "I'm sorry that was too soon I was just caught in the moment and I really do love you and-" I was interrupted by Luz pressing out lips together, I kissed back,obviously, but I was mentally freaking out, I was kissing Luz, on the lips, oh my titain me and Luz are dating, 15 seconds went by before she pulled away,
"I love you too Amity"
