Jay limped in quickly and saw her friends at a booth with Miguel sitting away from them. She looked out the glass door and saw her dad watching her. She gulped as she walked towards the booth and saw Eli's arm around Moon and a scowl on Crimson's face.
When her dad dropped her off she immediately took off to the park and laid in the grass until her dad was supposed to take her to her friends.
The drive over there consisted of her dad telling her what she did wrong and she just sat there the whole time yelling at him in her head that he literally knew nothing about karate.
She wished she could actually tell him that though.
She walked over to the table and bent down so she was hidden from her dads view but she could still see him.
Why the fuck hasn't he left yet?
Suddenly Eli's mohawk got into her way and she scowled.
"Move your big ass head," she muttered and his eyes widened.
"Hi Jay," Crim said. "What are you doing here?"
"Shhhh!" she exclaimed.
Everyone stared at her intently as she stared out the window.
"Oh fuck oh shit," she whispered to herself as she saw her dad get out of the car. "Up up! Scooch!"
She grabbed Indy by the arm and pulled her out of the booth. Moon, sensing she was a little scared, quickly got out too.
Jay whispered a small 'thank you' and moved so she was sitting next to Eli. Moon and Indy sat back in their previous spot in the booth.
"Uh Jay are you good?" demetri asked. "What's that on your face?"
She subconsciously touched the scratch on her cheek as she watched her dad walk through the door.
"Ah no this isn't gonna work," she whispered. "Hawk move."
"What! I can't move there's no space!" he exclaimed.
Jay huffed and sat on his lap and tried to get him to move.
"Scoot over!" she shouted as she kept trying to switch places with him.
"Quit squirming around!" he whispered shouted. "It feels weird."
"Stop complaining!" she said as she accidentally pushed moon. "Oh shoot I'm so sorry!"
