Me, Blue and Hover were running after the kids, chasing their sent.

Hover:this is why I hate kids!

Blue:well you can't blame them we did kinda take them from their home

Indo:told ya we should've left them there

We slowed and I sniffed the air again. Hybrids.

Indo:other Hybrids...their close to the kids

We ran a little more and stopped behind a tree. There were two Hybrids one holding the boy down and one that had the girl. The girl had dropped her little colourful ball on the ground and it rolled toward causing the girl to look at us.

Boy:let her go-!

Hybrid 1:shut it Human!

Blue:im going in there

Hover:fuck it

We all transformed and rushed them. They transformed as well but they didn't stand a chance. When we transformed back I saw the girl being hugged by the boy as they were pressed up against a tree. The girl was reaching out for her colourful ball that rolled away.

Blue:it's okay we won't hur-

Boy:your Monsters! I know what you've done to people...when the soilders come back you'll all be-

Hover:there are none left! The ones that tried to kill you a minute ago probably killed the last of them awhile ago

Blue:Hover stop it your scaring them

Hover:whatever I'll see you back at the house...

She walked off and the girl was crying now silently.

Blue:listen we're not like them we can help you

I walked toward the little ball and picked it up. The girl saw me and reached out for it again. I kneeled down in front of her and gave it to her. She took and held it close then I saw her eyes...green and slitted, like mine and like Hovers.

Indo:your like me

Boy:no...were human!

Indo:eyes don't lie...

I sniffed.

Indo:she smells like a Hybrid

The girl moved her long black hair back and looked up at me.

Indo:yeah she's a Hybrid

Boy:but our parents were Human!

Blue:and they put a lot on the line to raise her...there's a place we can take you where your sister and you will be safe, there is a helicopter coming in a couple days and we can get you there...

The blonde Boy looked down at his sister.

Boy:fine...

Blue:okay, come on we'll take you back

They got up but the girl fell. Her leg was still bleeding.

Boy:Sophie!

He tried to help her but couldn't lift her all the way. Blue picked her up and carried her.

Blue:come on...I'd rather we leave before Hover burns the place down

She walked off with me and the kid following her.

Boy:how did you know she was like you?

Indo:the eyes for one thing

Boy:it's just an eye disease
