"Ari!" I hear Joelle yell
"Hold on babe I'll be back" I told Mario
He nodded his head and I walked out my room and went into Joelles.
"What you want?" I ask sitting on her bed
"Can you help me with my homework, I seriously can't wait to graduate" she groans
"Girl I barely passed high school myself, lemme see the paper" I hold my hand out
"Ouu girl this shit do look hard, yo mama was the smartest out of the two of us" I say and we both laugh
"I bet she was amazing" she smiles
"She was, I'm glad you let me talk about her Zola won't even let me say her name" I say
"I wanna hear every story of her it makes me feel closer to her, and Zola will come around this is just how she deals with things" she smiles
I smile and look back at the paper I helped her the best I could, Joelle was always the one who was curious about her mom (Harmony) she died while giving birth to the twins and they bitch ass daddy wasn't in the picture to begin with, in the beginning we all lived with my auntie until I turned 19 and bought a apartment for the three of us, Harmony was young when she died she was 17 years old and she was pregnant I was only 9, now I am a nurse at one of the best hospitals in New York I would really like a raise because this apartment we are in is too small it has two bedrooms and one bathroom, Joelle and Zola share a bedroom they didn't like it at first and they still don't but this is all I can afford right now hence why I want a raise.
Me and Mario ain't dating we just friends with benefits, he wanna be my boyfriend but ion get time for a relationship my main priority is making sure me and nieces are good.
"Thank you for helping" she smiles
"No problem" I say and get up going into my room
I see that Mario left, I sit in my bed and put my hair up in a bonnet then go into the bathroom to wipe my makeup off.
"Girl I'm in the shower!" Zola yells
"I'll be quick" I say and start to wash my face
"You've been using my skin cleaner?" I ask when I see a lil is gone
"Yeah, mines was all gone"
I roll my eyes and finish taking my makeup off, when I finished I cleaned up my mess and left purposely leaving the door open.
"Close the door!" Zola yells
I laugh and go back to my room, I know her ass gone be cold when she get out the shower.
