"Ari where are we going?" Zola asks
I sigh knowing I need to tell them what's happening I face them and tell them everything that has happened.
"Waitttt" Joelle says
"I know this is a bad idea but his mom said she'll pay me almost a million dollars" I say
"You're only doing this for money?" Zola asks
"Yes" I nod
"I haven't told you guys but money is really tight and I want you both to have a great life that's what your mom would've wanted" I say
"But we could get jobs" Zola says
"No what y'all need to do is focus on your studies" I say then stand up
"Please guys work with me" I say and go into my room
I plop down on the bed and sigh, Dave's mom said the movers were coming at five to pack up our apartment.
I grab my phone and FaceTime my best friend Tae, he picks up immediately.
"Hey bae" he smiles
"Heyyy how's everything in Chicago?" I ask as I lay on my stomach
"Everything's fine, I'm leaving Wednesday" he says
"Good, I need my hair done" I laugh
"It's always can you do my hair? and never how was your day?" He fake sighs
"Nigga bye" I laugh
"So I got something to tell you" I say
"What?"
I begin to tell him everything that's going in, took longer because he kept asking me questions.
"Bitch that's crazy, how he even know you?" He asks
"I've been thinking about it and I think I know why he thinks that" I say

"Wellll it was the day I stayed at the hospital late and I checked on him, as I did that I was on the phone with you talking about my hopes and dreams" I say swaying my feet back and fourth
