"What does that mean?" I ask
"You and Dave did date in high school" she says and I frown
"Y'all dated in ninth grade and "broke up" in junior year"
"Wait I'm confused?"
"During your junior year you were in a bad car crash and you lost your memory, Dave was heart broken when the love of his life didn't remember him he tried to see you but you auntie didn't allow it and she changed your schools, and I hope you know I didn't set all this up Dave really has lost his memory and when he was saying y'all was married I didn't recognize you at first but I know it's messed up but I believe you and Dave are soulmates" she says
Suddenly it's it's like she unlocked all my memories, every little memory just came back to me.
"What yo name shorty?" Younger Dave asks
"Not shorty" I say and keep walking
