"mommy we're home" 7 year old nova yelled out

"why weren't you at the bus stop today" nova yelled out walking to her mom's room

"mommy" "mommy you in here"she said going into her mom's room

"mommy wake up it's not bedtime"nova said shaking her mom
"mommy wake up now"nova demanded jumping up on the bed
"mommy what's this white stuff"nova said looking at her mom's nose
"mommy please wake up"

"What's wrong with mommy"nova asked her older sister

"Hold on I'm coming"novas older sister said as she answered the door

"We brought little man home, since your mom didn't pick him up today. Is everything thing ok?"someone from their two year old brother's daycare said

"Yes everything is ok have a good day bye"nova's 12 year old old sister Dominique said embarrassed shutting the door quick

"Sissy what's wrong with mommy"

"I'm going to go see you sit here and watch Zaire"

"Ok"

"Nova call granny" Dominique yelled

"Is something wrong with mommy" nova said as she ran to the phone dialing her grandmas number

"Hey baby"

"Hey grandma I think something is wrong with mommy please help" she whined to her grandma

"I'm on my way baby stay on the phone"

"Ok grandma please hurry up" she cried

Her grandma pulled up to their house 30 minutes later which was quick because it was usually a 1 hour drive plus traffic which was made the drive almost 2 hrs

"Granny" nova yelled running up to her grandma

"Baby where is your momma"

"She's right here" Dominique said pointing her to her moms room

Her grandma ended up calling 911 and they took her to the hospital

"Ma'am your daughter seems to have been doing heroin and she overdosed but she made it through she seems very addicted so I would suggest rehab but y'all can go see her in room 302 on the 3rd floor" the doctor said to novas grandma

"Ok thank you sir"

"No problem" he said walking off

"Come on babies" she said to nova and Dominique while caring Zaire

They got to Nova'a moms room and she was sitting on the bed starching he neck and arms

"What is wrong with mommy she looks crazy" nova whispered to her sister

"She's gonna be ok" Dominique whispered back

"Ok"

"Hey baby" novas mom said to them

"Mommy what's wrong with you, I seen white stuff on your nose earlier" nova asked

"Baby imma get better I promise imma get better for you and your sister and brother" she cried

"Come here yall" novas mom said giving them all a hug

"I love y'all" she cried hugging them tight

"Momma thank you" she cried

"It's ok but you better get right for them kids and yourself that stuff your doing isn't heal-"

"I know momma please not here not right now"

"No we will do it right here and right now, someone had to come to your house to drop your son off because you were too doped up and your children seen you like this, them kids were hungry they haven't ate or anything but you didn't care if they were gonna be ok when you were doing those drug did you"

"I know momma I know" she cried

"No you don't know anything, you're going to rehab and them kids are gonna come stay with me, and you're gonna get better do you hear me"

"Yes" Alyssa ( novas mom) said with a attitude rolling her eyes

"I'm going to take these kids to get something to eat I'll bring you something back" nova's grandma Annie said leaving with the kids

They went to Texas Roadhouse

"So guys mommy is gonna be going away for a little bit y'all are gonna stay with me okay"

"Okay grandma" nova said

"Okay"Dominique said

"Is momma leaving like daddy" nova asked

"No baby they both are coming back"

"no their not" she mumbled
