"Come on nova, stop being scary" some of nova's "friends" said

"But I don't want to...I can't"nova said as her friends were trying to pressure her into just off the treehouse

"Just do it damn, this why no one don't ever wanna be around you...you never wanna do anything fatherless ass" one of her "friends" said mumbling the last part

"What did you just say" nova said with tears forming in her eyes

"I said you fatherless ass...it was just a joke" the little rugrat chuckled

"Just a joke...okay got it...well this a joke to" nova said punching her in the face

they started tussling nova was getting some good ass hits in while the other girl was just trying to cover her face

For a nine year old nova could fight....despite this being her first fight

"DON'T....EVER....SPEAK...ON...MY...DADDY...AGAIN" nova said hitting the girl as she said each word .... all novas pain turned into anger

One of the girls in the group jumped in and started hitting nova

Nova was still getting her licks in but somehow one of the girls pushed her off the treehouse and she went flying down face first

The group of kids started climbing down the stairs if the treehouse...some where laughing...when they all got down they begin to run but when novas grandma heard all the commotion she came running out the house stopping the group of girls in their track

"What did y'all bad ass kids do to my damn grand baby"  novas grandma cried in anger as she ran over to nova who was barely conscious

None of them said anything they just stood their looking like a deer caught in headlights

One of them eventually cracked after novas grandma said she was calling the police

Nova had to be rushed to the hospital and her family was informed she was gonna to have to be hospitalized and then eventually have to go to physical therapy

Thanks to the little girl who cracked, the girl who pushed nova off the tree was going to be serving on juvie for a while and the law would be deciding what would happened next...as for novas hospital bill the girl who pushed her family had to pay the full amount plus her physical therapy and money for emotional damage to nova and her grandma which caused them to be out of a lot of money ain't even they were already in debt
