A dismal shade of grey envelopes the world,
the sky slowly dims from the somber hue of darkness,
the clouds of daylight are obscured,
and the sun slowly set where it rose
The day ends with me
Lulled into a peaceful night's rest
Dreaming and hoping tomorrow
for a mind of clarity
and self,
