I sit still and take a look
Into the eyepiece of my telescope
Observing the wonders of the night
And enthralled by the shimmers of twinkling lights

The sky is cloudless as it could ever be
And the vast galaxy beckons me
Closer and closer to look so far,
To examine the beauty of the moon and stars

The wonders of the night are indeed abound,
But, what lies beneath is so profound
So charming and mystical: the galaxy of the night
Now, shall we examine it together tonight?
