Chapter 3 : The Rain

" Okay Bonnie I'll get the car one minute " Daniel said to Bonnie when it was time for everyone to leave everyone left one by one and now it was only Tom , Emma , Bonnie and Daniel left

" Okay " Bonnie said nodding and smiling

" Okay Bonnie we will also leave bye take care " Emma said her voice filled with care and a sisterly affection while Tom left to get his car

" Bonnie I wanted to ask you this are you happy with Jamie you were not as enthusiastic as you used to be before when he proposed I know you too well you can't lie to me please I will understand " Emma said after both the boys were out of sight

" I'm happy Emma don't worry you carry on with your life " Bonnie said smiling so warmly and it looked as if it was coming from her heart even Emma couldn't sense that it was fake so Emma just nodded smiling

" Okay yeah Emma come in and Bonnie take care and think about your wedding you'll call us right ?? " Tom said jokingly earning a slap from Emma and laugh from Bonnie

" Hey Bonnie Get in " Daniel called getting out of the car and opening the car door for Bonnie and him being a gentle man he should do it 

" Thanks Dan " Bonnie said getting in and Daniel closed the door before waving to Emma and Tom

" Okay so straight to your house " Daniel said sitting inside the car closing the door behind him and started to drive while Bonnie looked out of the window at the peaceful city sleeping 

They went silent not an awkward on but a peaceful one they don't need to talk to eachother to stop it from being awkward

Suddenly the car stopped and Daniel realized the fact that he didn't fill it before coming he completely regretted fdoing that and that too when he is with Bonnie

" umm Bonnie I f- fo- forgot- " Daniel was cut off when Bonnie continued his sentence and stated the exact correct statement

" You forgot to fill the car didn't you ?? " Bonnie said with a warm beautiful and a real smile knowingly

" Yeah " Daniel said nodding while he threw his head down ashamed of his laziness

" Hey it's okay we can walk I like walking and you don't have any choice except for eaccompany me walking to my house and then we can take my car " Bonnie said opening the door and getting out and Daniel followed it in suit

" I'm really sorry Bonnie " Daniel said still ashamed of the fact that he got so lazy all of a sudden

" Oh come on we can walk as I already told I like walking but I don't think you'll enjoy it " Bonnie said taking in fresh air while her hair swayed behind her shoulder which made her look like an amgel at least that's what it looked like according to Daniel

" NO NO I'll really enjoy it you know natural fresh air , dimly light corridor walking with you " Daniel said whispering the last part so that Bonnie can't hear it

" Well even I love it dimly lit corridors peaceful night no sound so calm it feels refreshing after a long tired day " Bonnie said stretching her hands slighly

" But I'm still rea- " Daniel stopped when he felt a drop of water on his shoulder from the look  in Bonnie's eyes , he assumed that she also felt it 

" It's gonna rain " Bonnie said coolly and Rain started to pour over the couple making them wet head to toe 

They started laughing but quickly started to run off to Bonnie's house which was nearer than they thought it would be the rain didn't pour for a long time because after 20 minutes they reached Bonnie's house and the rain stopped as if it was controlled by switch

They were laughing so hard that they didn't even realize that they were holding hands or that they were indeed too close

" Okay umm Bonnie can I change to your brother's cloths for today please I can't go like this to my house " Daniel asked panting heavily while Bonnie nodded in agreement still panting

" Okay wait I'll find my key " Bonnie said rummaging inside her bag for her key and in 2 minutes she found it

She slowly inserted the key in the lock and screwed it open and BOOM

" Happy Engagement Day " Everyone including Jamie said happily not noticing that Daniel was also there or that they both were wet fom head to toe

" Today is the day we first met Bonnie " Jamie said calmly smiling taking steps near bonnie " Today is the day I fell in love with you " Jamie said and started kissing her passionately and Bonnie didn't have any choice but to kiss back while leaving Daniel with a broken heart

' I shouldn't have been close to her ' Daniel thought silently pretending to smile but nobody knew he was broken inside

" Dan why are you both wet did you roam in the rain ?? " Bonnie's mother asked noticing that her daughter and Daniel were so wet and that Dan was there

" Well mum we didn't do it on purpose it was because Dan didn't fill his car and when we walked here Rain started pouring and yeah that's the reason " Bonnie said taking it as a cue to break their kiss

" Ohh okay now go change " Bonnie's mom said orderingly which made everyone nod and Bonnie took Dan to Lewis's room and they chose a good shirt before Bonnie left to her room to change

Daniel stayed there that night but his heart was broken , stolen and eveything a girl could possibly do to his heart , everytime he closed his eyes the image of Bonnie and Jamie kissing infront of his eyes came into his mind
