Sunoo woke up with Jungwon sleeping beside him.
He looked at the boy's face.
He looked peaceful sleeping.
He smiled.
He loves seeing Jungwon's tiny face.
Sunoo feels happy whenever he's with him, Jungwon cheers him up.
Jungwon opened his eyes.
They're both surprised.
Sunoo moved back.
Jungwon looked straight at the window.
The sun is up again.
"The sun!" Jungwon jumped out of joy.
"It's up again!"
"Oh, Careful!" Sunoo moved fast and caught Jungwon as he almost fell down the bed.
The sun is up and it feels much hotter today, maybe because it's summer?
Jungwon looked straight at Sunoo's eyes.
They were shining like gold.
It's the first time he saw eyes like Sunoo's.
"Jungwon-" His sister suddenly came in and saw them, then they immediately moved away from each other.
"Breakfast is ready." she quickly closed the door and left.
Jungwon rolled down his bed after Sunoo let go.
They both laugh at what just happened.
Jake is on his way out of their house.
His mother walked with him.
He saw his plants by the garden.
He took a look at them.
"It's been so long..."
Some of its leaves are now brown and falling.
He grabbed a hose and sprayed water on it.
He wondered how some of it survived even after two years without sunlight and water.
Jake stared at them for a while.
"I'm sorry."
"Jaeyun." his mother called him.
Jake looked.
"Do you still want to study Agroforestry?" his mom asked, then held his hand.
"I don't know mom," He sighed, "I don't know until when the sun will stay up there." he pointed at the sky.
Jake loved taking care of plants and pets. He decided to pursue studying Agroforestry as his passion. But after the phenomena, he felt his dream was broken.
How will the trees and plants live without the sun?
He was in despair, and decided to give up on his dream.
He lost interest in studying as he thought there's no more reason for it.
He took out his anger on bullying other students.
Riki was one of them.
He always picked on him for acting weak and fragile.
He hated it.
Jake thought that Riki was just like him, a coward.
