They made us strong
They taught us how to fight
Yet, they didn't educate them
How to respect and protect us.

They made us alert
They taught us how to run
Yet, they didn't educate them
How to not come for us.

They made us brutal
They taught us how to rebuild
Yet, they didn't educate them
How to not break us.

(Authors note):
Here 'they' I am referring to the society we currently live in. 'Us' refers to women and 'them' refers to men. This is a significant issue in our society and the country I live in also have a high number of assault cases and harassment. I'm not trying to say that only women go through these issues, so let's be kind to each other.
