Sitting on a wet unfinished concrete
The sky is quiet as Sunday morning
Tears falling like autumn leaves
Carving way through my burnt cheeks
My eyes gaze over to the raven sky
I'm drained, it's getting hard to breathe
Feels like this sky is trying to choke me
The same sky which used to save me
Everything is falling just not as I want
I've realised that the awful game of puzzle
Is not in my hands, pieces are far away
Scattered and I'm too tired to gather
The ozone layer of my heart is depleted
All the words are like harsh UV rays
Striking straight into my fragile heart
Making me weaker leaving me vulnerable.
