Chapter 2: I am Adani Tempest

Sike! I decided to just upload when I feel like it. I have two chapters in the editing stages but this one is all set... I think.

--Adani POV--

Both my parents have died. My father died of a heart attack when I was 8, my mother died of cancer just today, on my eighteenth birthday.

I'm alone now. With nowhere to go. I was drowning in debt in order to pay for my mother's bills.

I don't blame my parents, and I don't regret being born as their child. I just wish they were stronger. Selfishly, I wish I had more time with my warm parents.

"Give me all your money, or anything of value, and I'll let you live." I felt a cold and sharp object press against my back.

"I have no money, nor anything of value." I said calmly, there isn't much I could do anyway.

"Than I guess this is Goodbye, you were going to lose your life anyway."

A sharp pain ran through my body starting at my abdomen.

If there is a thing as reincarnation, let me be born to strong parents.

I was paralyzed with fear, and suddenly-

Name? My name? I am Adani? It's pretty... I am Adani Tempest!

I felt elated, and my body felt like it started to change.

And then everything was bright. There were two beautiful people in front of me.

"Hello Adani, I am your father, the Storm Dragon, Veldora Tempest. This is your mother, Demon Lord Rimuru Tempest-" The bigger of the two said while looking at me.

"WHY THE HELL AM I A MOTHER?!" The smaller one started to shout. They argued for a while longer but I was lost in my thoughts.

Father... Mother...? Why does it feel like a wish I've had for so long has been answered? I feel... I feel so happy!
