Chapter 12

Next day

Marinette's POV

I woke up but this time I was not late I went to make breakfast when I realised today is off as it is Saturday. I wasn't sleepy right now so I made breakfast. I made scrambled eggs a glass of orange juice some coffee, and 2 cheese sandwiches. Adrien was up and came to join me for breakfast we had our breakfast and Alya called me telling about the hangout plan. We were going to the bar I didn't agree because its not good to consume alcohol during pregnancy. I made an excuse saying that I wasn't feeling well and I won't be able to join you Adrien said he'll be looking after me and Nino and Alya can have a date.
Adrien did the dishes after breakfast while I took a shower and wore freshly ironed baggy shirt and shorts tied my hair in a messy bun and went downstairs to go through the notes I missed yesterday.

Adrien's POV

I think I should tell dad about Marinette, he'll be happy about being a grandfather. I know he will. I called my dad and told him about setting a diner for toni as I have something important to tell him and he is going to meet someone really special and he agreed to it.  I saw Marinette going through notes she missed from yesterday's class " my queen?" I say while I hug her
"Yes" she replies
"I want you to meet my dad tonight for diner. I have to tell him about us and our child" I say
"What if he doesn't like me?" She says
"He's going to enjoy having you for diner and I know it. You both have common interests like fashion designing" I convinced her and she'll be coming.
"I don't have anything to wear" she says
"I'll have Natallie to arrange you something to wear" I say
In an hour Natallie came and brought some dresses from the store. Marinette ended up wearing a red above knee length skirt and white shirt.
We left for the Agreste mansion. Where my dad welcomed us warmly. I told the whole story and nods in silence. He didn't speak a word. Is he not happy?
"Uhm" my dad clears his throat "So what are your ambitions, miss Dupeng Cheng?" He asks
"Well, I want to be a fashion designer" she replies
"Have you made any designs so far?" He asks.
"Yes, I have made a few" she says
"Well I'd love to see them" my dad smiles, I have never seen him smile this way before.
"I'd love to show them to you, but they are at home" says Marinette
"That's no problem, how about tomorrow diner you can bring your designs and I will see them." My dad says with a smile.
"Thank you, Mr Agreste" she says
"You can call me Gabriel" he says. After we were done with the diner it was time for us to leave. "It was an honour meeting you, Ms Dupeng Cheng" he says
"The pleasure is mine. You can call me Marinette" she says with a smile and we left.
