The Capitol. A place within the Empire where citizens prosper. A shining beacon of wealth and power within the nation.
But power comes at a price. Dark secrets lie behind the peaceful facade of the Capitol's Upper Class. Cruel and sadistic crimes co...
All people must one day turn to ash. So, too, must nations fall to ruin.
Despite the Capital's wealth and prosperity, it has become mired in corruption. The pompous and the vile run rampant throughout the city.
These demons are beyond salvation and are therefore silenced in the darkness by an elite group of assassins...
These assassins all have a story. Most are good people who wish to do right by others, and ensure that no one else has to endure these injustices. Others have pasts that they would like to forget, and strive towards redemption.

William was suddenly awoken by a knock on the door. He gasped for air, as he felt he had not been breathing the whole time he was asleep. His mind was totally blank for a moment, hence why he blankly looked his study.
'That dream again...' He thought to himself.
His attention was grabbed by another knock on the door.
"Uh, c-come in." William said, caught off guard.
The door opened, revealing his younger brother.
"Just checking on you. You've been here for a long time... well, longer than normal." He said.
"Oh, it's you, Byrnes... sorry, I just had a lot of paperwork." William half-lied.
Byrnes caught on to the fact that his brother seemed off.
"Are you okay? You seem... a bit out of it." Byrnes asked.
"Yeah, I'm-... I'm fine." William sighed.
"You've been having that dream again, haven't you?" Byrnes asked.
William sighed.
"Yes. I still don't know what's causing it." William replied.
William then organized the paperwork that was scattered on his desk, then placed it in a drawer. He then got up from his desk and grabbed his coat.
"The Prime Minister requested to see me, so I'm heading to the palace." William said.
"I'll come with. I don't really have anything else going on." Byrnes said.
The brothers then left the house and walked through the Imperial Capital.

A few hours passed, and the brothers were halfway to the palace. As they walk, they look around them.
"This city... it seems so beautiful and peaceful." William said.
