"Heya! Missed me?" You yelled after stepping into the building. Hu tao's eyes instantly lit up, seeing that you came back to Liyue after such a long time. "Of course!! So many people were buried and haunted while you were gone~" she sulked and hugged you.

You hugged her back and patted her back. "That's just your job, right?" You chuckled. "Yeah, but that's not what I mean! I meant that you were away for a REALLYYY long time!" You pat her head and walked over to Zhongli.

"How's it been going?" "Rather fine, thank you for asking. I couldn't help but notice your friend," he narrowed his eyes Bennett's way. "Oh!! Yeah, this is Bennett. We're adventuring together as Benny's Adventure Team!" You dragged him further inside.

He whispered a small 'hello' even though it was barely above a whisper, Zhongli nodded and continued to properly introduce himself. And then Hu tao... basically jumped on him. "He's so adorable~! Can I keep him?" She looked at you with pleading eyes as she held Bennett in her arms.

"No," Zhongli's voice sounded so cold that it sent a shiver down your spine. "Awh.. Guess it can't be helped, but we have to hang out next time!" She pointed at you. "Of course, I could never turn you down," the girl smiled and jumped at your answer.

"You can continue with your plan now, we have a customer soon. Enjoy your time in Liyue, the city of contracts," Zhongli grinned. "Thanks, good luck with the customer. I'll see you later!" Hu tao hugged you before you went out.

"Now we just need to find a house to rent," you sighed. "Let's go to Yujing terrace. There should be houses for rent there," "Isn't that really expensive?" Bennett asked. "It is, but this much Mora would be enough for a whole year!" You excitedly said pointing to the pouch.

"I'm not so sure about this... And how long do you plan on staying?" "Until I find out who my brother is, that's for sure," Bennett slowly nodded and you grabbed his hand and eventually continued dragging him.

You passed by a small pond full of fish and some lotus heads floating around. Old and young people laughed while feeding the fish. It looked fun, so you had to take a mental note to go back here.

Then passed by a big building with a round-shaped roof. You didn't remember it being there the last time you visited. Eh, must be a new building. You didn't think much of it.

"Here we are. That wasn't too bad," you smiled and looked at Bennett who was gasping for air and his skin was a light shade of pink. "Oh... Are you not used to all this?" You chuckled.

He shook his head. "Guess we can rest a little since we have a few more hours before the sun sets," you said and made your way to a nearby bench.

"Phew," Bennett caught his breath. "You okay?" "Yeah. I think I got my breathing under control now, so we can go," you smiled and was about to stand up when someone came up to you.

"In the name of Millelith, stay where you are!" You got startled for a second but continued to obey him. "I will need you to answer a few questions for me," he stood as straight as his polearm.

You nodded and continued listening. "As you may know, Osial has been released not long ago. I has been taken care of, but we are currently searching for suspects," he informed you of the situation.

"First question, where were you when Osial attacked?" "Nearby Stone gates. We are nothing more but mere travellers," you tried to convince the Millelith.

"It is true that I have never seen you two around. Welcome to Liyue, make sure to enjoy your stay. Sorry for bothering you," he bowed and gave you something similar to a a ticket.

"Show this to the Millelith if any more want to ask you questions," "Thank you, sir," you bowed and continued to search a house for rent with Bennett.

"How about this one? Isn't too fancy and too big. Seems like a normal Mondstadt house, except Liyue style," Bennett looked at the house before nodding.

"This should be good," you smiled and walked over to the person who was hanging around the vicinity. "Hello, miss? Is this house for rent?" You lightly tapped the females shoulder.

"Oh! Hello, it's been a while since someone wanted to rent a house. Welcome to Liyue.. Ah, right! For how long would you like to stay?" She started walking to the house.

"About a month," "Great. That'll be 2530 Mora," "That's quite expensive, are you sure?" Bennett whispered to you. "Yeah, there are even more expensive ones over there," you pointed to your right.

He sweat-dropped and you giggled while giving the Mora to the girl. "Thank you, have a great stay," she bowed and you bowed back. You unlocked the door and went inside.

You looked around. "Not bad. It's fully furnished too," the two of you looked around and soon sat on the couch. That was when you remembered. "Ah.. I didn't ask for the room number," you squinted your eyes.

"I can-" "No, it's fine. I'll just go take a look around. Not that big of a deal," you interupted the boy. You really didn't want him to feel pressured due to his first time in Liyue.

You got up and started walking in the maze-like house. Throughout every hallway and door. Every single turn. Every corner. And you found 3 bedrooms.

But only 1 bathroom.

Eh, that shouldn't be a really big problem. There was a lock on the bathroom door anyways. You went into the bedroom right in front of the bathroom.

It was the closest to everything. Bathroom, living room, kitchen. The room on the left was also a bedroom. You really took a liking to the new and improved Liyue style.

OH HOW I MISSED THIS. I always write on my laptop but it just turned off and won't turn on so I'll take it to a professional in this route and hopefully they fix it.

I needed to write on my phone because I didn't want to abandon this fic.

Also I'll be going to a lake for 3 days so uhh,, no updates for like another week since it takes me FOREVER to think of something.

Sorry not sorry lol
